Why so negative? Let's all celebrate the evolution of shoe technology. Why should that single area be held back?
Are you still using and happy with your 1980s land line phone?

Thank you! :-)
Definitely cheating. As is running on all-weather & mondo tracks. Bring back the dirt baby!

Actually, yes.
Bouncy was the first feeling I felt when wearing mine around the house
I've only worn the Vaporflys once but they did not feel 'bouncy' at all, compared to other lightweight racing flats like Zoom Streak. For 5Ks, I wouldn't say they were faster, the only benefit was faster recovery due to less impact. Their performance benefit would be greater for half marathons and longer.
running needs to embrace the new shoe technology.
this is similar to when major league baseball embraced the hollow aluminum bats that increased bat speed and hitter production.
Come try it. You're as dumb as you are obnoxious. That's my first post.
The shoes need to be banned and the records scrubbed from the books. You wouldn't let records be set in those old Spiras, would you?

How far should new shoe technology be allowed to go, though? Like, I’m sure we’d all agree that shoes with built-in jet packs wouldn’t be fair game.
where can i get a pair of 10.5?
Do you have any idea what the world record is for a mile on a pogo stick?
Or how many 2:01 marathoners there would be if pogo-stick shoes could make you run faster? 4% of a 2:06 marathon is 5 minutes. There would be dozens of them!
Didn't happen, they don't work, don't be stupid.
The Nike Vaporfly 4% shoes do work.
Swarms of runners in the lead pack at local races have these on their feet.
If it was rubbish then nobody would be forking over $250 for these things.

Don't be stupid? You don't really believe people think they're literally like having pogo sticks on your feet?!
