Haha, last week a female coworker told me she runs a 30 minute 5 miler first thing in the morning every day. But she could do it in 26-27 minutes if she would push the pace.
I told her that every track club in the country would be happy to have her, but she had no interest because she "just runs to get rid of some excess energy anyway"

nope, just don't believe anything you have said or have done and despise stolen valor.
He's already been caught in numerous lies, all of which are now forever attached to his name. Good going 4:04!
One more and I'll put it to rest (I just can't stand lying vets, they make the rest of us look like scumbags) - 4:04 claims to have been on a ~20 month deployment without mid-rotation leave. One, you were never deployed for 20 consecutive months - even during the height of the surge guys getting extended during Iraq deployments weren't gone that long. Two, any time a deployment is longer than 12 months, there is a mid-rotation leave. Three, stop running your stupid mouth - you're a disgrace to the veteran community.
I actually know Corey Duquette and he is anything but stolen valor. Many people including the ones who run this site also know Duke and he is a great guy. This thread was about military times and pansies like you are trying to start fights because your life is obviously boring and you don’t get laid enough. We all know the type and can see the signs... they have some meds for that buddy. Go rub one out and leave Duke alone.
I like how Corey Is the only one who actually had the balls to mention his real name and YouCam actualky research his credentials and see he is telling the truth. It’s obvious to anyone on here that you two little boys are taking anything he says and twisting it out of context. He never said he went on 20 month deployments without workups.. I just re-read his post and if he was stolen valor why would he admit to dropping training instead of saying he was a SEAL? Use your brain. My guess is Corey, you might have someone on your social media who is jealous and doesn’t like you because I came to the conclusion that someone on here mentioned GS scale and seems to know what your job title and position grade is. I didn’t find any of that in you myself so it would have to be someone who has seen personal info on you and isn’t really your friend.
Man up gentlemen and tell everyone your reals name! My guess is the reason they haven’t yet is because you would run them into the ground Corey
What is your real name? What agency do you work for? What’s your age? You have to be late 50’s maybe early 60’s if your really a GS-14 Step 8. Don’t be scared... you’re a bass ass after all. I agree with the previous comment, tell everyone your name be an adult and don’t hide behind your computer screens. Your started a fight, finish it.
People of all walks lie or embellish stories. I've met plenty of people over my 20 years in the military that made me doubt their claims, but I've also learned to never judge a book by its cover. A good friend of mine (not a military guy) ran 4:28 in high school and if he told you that you'd probably laugh in his face, considering he's like 5'7" and 280 lbs now. I work with a couple guys who claim they ran certain times when they were younger. After seeing pictures of them from 10-15 years ago and seeing they might be 100 lbs heavier now, it's not surprising. One of the slowest guys in my unit was also on my high school team, and ran about 5:00 and 18:00 in XC. You sure as hell wouldn't believe that now, but surprise, he's gained 60 lbs in those 20 years.
Two of the most talented guys I ever coached joined the Army right out of high school. One ran 9:23 and the other was a wrestler who never ran until his Senior year, and wound up with 50 flat and 1:56 pr's that year. Knowing them, they probably destroy the APFT, though. And of course you have runners out there who ran at the Military Academies, and other colleges, so there are very good runners within the military ranks.
Finally, can't we all just get along?
Happy running

BINGO! He has the guts to post his name and let others check his claims, which are true as it turns out. Looking at the posts, it seems to me that "gotta respond" and the other big mouth are probably the same person. "27 year career retiring E9. I volunteered for deployments", "Multiple combat tours to Afghanistan", "done more "real" military sh*t than some BUD/S dud"- a lot of claims with no proof. I'm surprised you haven't claimed a DSC. You probably got a med board after faking some BS like shin splints or something and left the Army after 3 years as a PFC in some non-combat arms MOS, if you ever served at all.

Your a Coward
how many screen names are you going to post under 4:04? Just looked up Poser in Urban Dictionary and there is a picture of Duke.
This is a female, apparently something you can’t tell the difference in. That explain a lot! Can we get back to the actual topic of this thread is about and put the toddlers in their play pin please? Also, you’re still hiding who you are which says plenty. I’m not interested in fighting with children, I have my own whom are more well behaved and have better respect and manners than some washed up Chair Force dude.
4:15:13 for this Nick Bare guy at Austin today. Not bad for his size.
