It has been established that for Allie to make the Olympic Marathon team, she needs to work on her basic speed over 5000m and get under 15:15. No female since 2004 has made the Olympic team with a PR slower than 15:15.

Factually inaccurate. MLB made the Olympic marathon team with a slower PR than 15:15. However, she did later run 15:14.
I don't know what everyone else in Boulder thinks, but I do know a lot of people who feel the same way I do: it's pretty cool to live in a place that attracts a lot of dreamers and aspirational types. It's part and parcel with being a mecca and it sure beats other places I've been in that regard. I suspect some could take that for granted, as with anything we humans do. Without the community of goal-oriented runners, running in Boulder would just be a lot of dodging smartphone-distracted Tesla drivers, tweaking bums, and stoned young'uns on mountain bikes in a pretty place, plus the road cycling and tri gear wonk influence. Runners tend to be a bit more encouraging and relatable, at least to my own biased view. So what if some think they're anointed just by living here? At least they're reaching for fun, admirable goals. I'll take that over dealing with
demeaning and divisive attitudes and actions pushed on you in Anytown, USA.
Besides, anyone here who knows the sport knows that the CU runners (current and former) are the real stars here. It's fun to know that there are good groups of talented runners training together around here, and see them race if they show up to Bolder Boulder or any random local race. However, they're mostly invisible to the local running community, keeping to themselves and training while the rest of us (minus the trustafarians and yoga-addicted housewives) are at work. I think people really miss seeing the Buffs race at the Shootout, though, even against minimal competition. This isn't really about Brad and Allie, just a view that counters some of the grouchy gripes. I'm not special at all, simply appreciative of what I've found.

5. Burla - too much experience to think she won't end up being in the mix
No. Just stop.
Does anyone actually know whether these two are dating? They appear to have zero intimate connection on their videos. Strange if they are actually dating
She told me in a PM that they are not.
1. Saw some jello jiggling
2. Interesting how the alarm said ‘backdoor’
3. No shoes in the house Brad. Dragging crap from outside inside?
Desi always finds her way on the team, although she might be less of a medal contender now than she was 3 years ago (Don't quote me, she has shocked everyone before), I say she has a better shot for the win at the trials. Here are my picks for contenders, I've done some research and noticed in my predictions, after Linden and Hasay and maybe Cragg, it's pretty much a crap shoot. Is Kara Goucher still running btw, if she is, I can't see her being a contender.
1. Hasay (If not injured or coming off of one)
2. Linden
3. Flannagan
4. Huddle
5. Sisson
6. Craigg (Has been known to bonk late)
7. Taylor
8. Bates
9. Kieffer
10. Sallie Kipyago? (Still unclear if she'll compete for the US)
Flannagan? Craigg? Sallie Kipyago? Maybe learn how to spell their names right if you want to post here as if you know anything at all.
Allie told me they are not dating . I do find the whole situation weird though- culling your entire squad to coach one athlete who has no chance of making the olympic team. Also, their you tube channel seems OTT. I mean, they had an production entire crew on hand the other day on her training run.

You should see if Brad gives the same answer.

Allie alone is more marketable than the rest of Hudson Elite combined, even with Parker "Look At My Hair/Outfit" Stinson included. It's not super complex.
Allie is not marketable as a serious runner. the chick is 20 pounds overweight for a marathon.

The very reason why Allie supposedly cannot be marketed as a serious runner is the reason why she's attracted so much from the mass market, everyday hobby joggers. This is two fold though because those same hobby joggers are now going to be doing more miles those same everyday casual runners are going to be extending their running habit to 5/week as opposed to weekend warrior.
This is great for the sport and wellness.

The hobby joggers are not going to get her a sponsor though.
She and Brad need to start a new club, "Cellulite Elite".

Source?
Allie follows the philosophy of thought leader Ragen Chastain, who holds a world record in the marathon. According to Ragen, there is no relationship between your weight and your athletic performance.
Yes, they are a couple, Brad confirmed this to me.
But I am concerned that Allie has a poster of Lance winning the Tour de France in their house. The greatest doper ever is an example to her?

I wonder if she's going to slim down after visiting a nutritionist (as shown in one of the episodes, again I really hate myself for watching these) and really understanding how to properly eat/fuel her body?
(Note: I'm not saying she should lose weight, I'm just curious if she will by eating better)
