But who are the greatest runners of all time in terms of running ability?
-
I think we should use the phrase "in terms of" in just about every sentence, in terms of things with subjects and predicates.
-
Julianna Moore
-
Robert Mitchum.
-
Ronald Reagan did a great job portraying a president in the 80s.

Jeeze no mention of black actors yet?
I thought these 2 would be at the top of anybody's list.
Morgan Freeman
Denzel W.
I like both of those guys, but they always tend to play the same type of role. Freeman is the older wiser type and Denzel is kind of always the hero type.
I’d give the nod to Denzel for range a bit over Freeman.
I probably should have mentioned Forrest Whittaker. Far more versatile.
Washington was great in Philadelphia. -
I haven't seen any mention of my top pick, Seymour Philip Hoffman.
Another favorite: John Cazale, whose six-year career encompassed just five films -- The Godfather, The Conversation, The Godfather Part II, Dog Day Afternoon, and The Deer Hunter. -
Not one mention of who many critics consider the greatest actor of all time - Marlon Brando
On the Waterfront, Streetcar named desire, One eyed Jacks, The Godfather, Apocalypse Now, Last Tango in Paris...…
I could go on and on. Some of you might have heard of him. But I doubt it. What an amazingly ignorant collection of posts. -
Bladerunner is right about Brando, but missing Newman? C'mon watch Hud.

Streep the best, Eastwood limited but my favourite. Crowe and Blanchett very good!
-
Michael Fassbender
Jessica Lange
Tom Cruz
Paul Newman
Ralph Fiennes
Lawrence Fishburne
Guy Pearce -
Pete Postlethwaite!
Watch him in the wonderful "Brassed Off", and then in the tv series "Sharpe".
It boggles the mind that it's possible for the same actor to play so vastly different roles.
An amazing actor!
P.S The trouble I have with Hopkins is that I'm always conscious that he's acting! -
Bryan Cranston
Heath Ledger
