Lol. There are literally only 8 Kenyans faster than Rupp in 2018. 7 of those those 8 Kenyans were only faster because they were put in a better race, in a better course, in better weather. If you put all the Kenyans and Rupp in Berlin there would only be one Kenyan faster.
List of Kenyans currently active that would crush Rupp in the marathon.
Eliud Kipchoge
Wilson Kipsang, yes he's a bit pass his prime but he could still crush him
Geoffrey Kamworor
Lawrence Cherono
Matthew Kipkoech Kisorio
Emmanuel Saina
Nobert Kigen
Dickson Chumba
Kenneth Kiprop Kipkemoi
Laban Korir
Than there is Leonard Korir, the American I believe would give Rupp a smack down in the marathon. 2020 trials Korir FTW in the marathon if he moves up in time.
Kamworor had a slower 2018 SB than Rupp, they are similar abilities. Would be a coin toss in a race.
Kisorio got done for PEDs
Nobert Kigen ran 2:09 for 3rd in Eindhoven this year. He's hit or miss.
Dickson Chumba raced Galen in Chicago and dropped out.
Kenneth Kiprop Kipkemoi finished a few seconds in front of Rupp in Chicago, definitely not a crushing victory. Has a similar PB to Rupp.
Laban Korir is a 2:06 guy like Rupp.
Really, I could have thought of much better Kenyan marathoners to make your point with. Lauding these guys over Rupp just seems like you're fanboying the Kenyans.
