I am really not impressed by your 24 yo girlfriend and even less with your 8.5% bf. The first bragging issue only reveals that you are immature, the second is not that uncommon among runners of YOUR age, even less among serious runners, regardless of age. Why don't you brag that you can beat Tony Young? He is your age, but I bet he would beat you by more than half of the lap in the mile and lap you in longer events (several times in 10k, if he would run it).
BTW, in order to predict your next question and give you answers beforehand- yes I am ripped (much lower bf than you), yes I have a girlfriend and can eat and drink as much as I want/need. I run 10-12 times a week and am pretty fast, but don't have obsessive need to brag about it. If you cannot help the original poster with at least remotely related answer to the question, don't bother to spill your stupid life achievements on this board.
To the original poster- yes, you can lose 20lb in a month, but is it worth it? You'll probably gain them back in very short time, so all your effort will be wasted. Do it gradually, eliminate the factors that balooned you to your current weight, and you will enjoy your new physique for much longer time.
