So, after I had graduated high school my uncle offered he could get me into his school district as a maintenance guy, basically fixing stuff. I took it up. Unfortunately, I didn't become one right away, as they started me as a part-time custodian, which I didn't mind, as I was making $18.65 an hour working 3-8 PM mon-fri. Finally, three years later after one promotion to full-time custodian, I finally got promoted to the maintenance position. Now I was making $26 an hour. Three years later I get laid off and I'm stuck here today, I only have about $11,000 grand saved up after a DUI and a couple of other things (Also wasn't the best saver) and im looking to the great minds of lrc community today to help me out and to see what my options are. Should I go to school (As in college)? Join the military? Join a union? Etc? Please no trolls, I'm in a predicament here and I'm willing to do whatever it takes to reinvent myself. Also, I know I'm young, so I know I'm not totally screwed. Also, for those who are wondering why I got laid off, budget cuts.
