Interesting that a white male “wins”. I don’t think I would have settled. If they are willing to settle then there is a huge chance to win even more money.

I noticed you didn't argue against what was actually posted but instead chose to argue a point that wasn't beint made. Which in itself shows just how ready people like you are looking forward to dismiss the effects of slavery. As well as the validity of the post you're responding to. It's always amazing how easily some of you can "recognize" discrimination or "reverse racism"(lol) when against white men, yet you always seem to become deaf and blind when its happening to the rest of the world.
Are you guys serious? This sport, by nature, is one of unity and brotherhood. So many of us come here to see the moving pieces in the sport, and this is how we want to carry ourselves? Love one another. My goodness..
They are a little late to the party if they are just now beginning phone interviews.
Some of you may not be black and some of you may not be white, but you are all definitely annoying.
Alright, enough of the silly speculations and pillow talk. Anybody have something relative to the job openings and not people’s personal stuff, ie a list of all the openings?
So... Andrea getting the nod or what? USF silent? Rutgers throws? Cal assistants staying? Anybody know about anything?

People on this site amaze me. You people think that track hires happen as fast as football hires. Football and basketball have their own unique set of rules. In minor sports we have to go through the entire HR process which can take a couple off months.
I suspect the hiring process - how fast/slow it goes - is quite individualized at schools. McKendree (spelling?) posted a head job about 1 month ago. Since then they've hired a head coach, which probably means they conducted some type of phone interview and campus visits prior to the hire - all in one month. And I believe they have now posted in the past couple days assistant coaching positions. At least in that school's case it seems they moved very quickly. Its amazing how much red tape disappears when ADs and staff are motivated to complete a task!
Do we think USF is looking for female head coach?

Hopefully, they are seeking the best candidate
It is BS racist crap like this, that weak white guys still try to perpetuate about black people and black men. This is supposed to be about coaching jobs and as usually, jealous weak white guys are upset that they don't have all the jobs. Like you are entitled to these jobs. You are not most of the athletes or the population. So why should you have most of the high profile jobs and in the biggest programs. You continually bash and lie on women and people of color. Get over your weak racist lying ways.
I am not going to address the thousands of ways racism in the this country since June 19, 1865 has affected African-Americans. You have already convinced yourself that whites haven't play a part in racist discriminatory and illegal actions, policies and laws against African-Americans. Your comments further prove the continued racist attitudes towards African-Americans.
https://youtu.be/fGGnYRJ9YPATrackFan19 is exposing his own racist views. Congrats! Lets get back to jobs. I don't give a damn the color of your skin!
Nobody should get a job because of the color of their skin or gender. The most qualified candidate with the best fit for the program should get the job.
I have to believe that deep down many of these hires know they are not the best candidate. They know that they are getting the job due to identity politics and that is it. Not sure I would even be able to look at myself in the mirror if I only got a position because of that.

I think that is the point people are referencing regarding Andrea's hiring status. If she was the one, would this not already be done? An internal hiring doesn't take time at all. All the background stuff is done. Instead, I imagine they found a great sprints coach to head the program up and now need Andrea to agree to be an assistant again.
Clearly you have not got much experience. States and institutions have laws regarding hires.

Well look at how fast Miss st made their hire. Didn’t silvey just step down a week ago? If i am wrong please correct me on this.

Yes. Further illustrating the point that different states and different schools will have different laws/rules governing hires.

What racist view would that be?
Missouri State job is a done deal. Jordan will be promoted.
So who’s in for the major jobs at Texas AM, USC, Georgia?

Carjay Lyles lasted lest a year in this spot, and Blockburger only made it through his third year.
So does this mean that Ayden Owens is transferring out of USC?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but was Owens recruited by Blockburger? If so, could this mean that Owens somehow ends up in Bear Down land?
