The salary for director of BU is embarrassing. 75k as a high for a combined directors job in Boston? That should be 125 minimally and probably 150 a year.

I think you may have misread what the previous poster said about the pay grade. They said the pay grade was 74. On the table that says the midpoint is $64,400...
Based on the job posting, and yes this is the entire post
"We have a full time position that will be filled with a qualified candidate with a jumps or throws coaching background."
I'd say they changed their staff model at some point and he wanted out.

Is that Rutgers job posted? Also is it part or full time?
Posted. Full time. No salary listed.
In other words throws wasn't getting it done anymore so we are open to jumps coaches aswell. The downward progession of that group is clear.
I dont buy this. Dude just had an an indoor national champion.
Def nothing to see here.

Andrea would never have left Ames without assurance she would be given Director when Harrliss was shown the door. I am sure other distance coaches have applied but they’re all about the same and Andrea is already there and a female Director is safe. Any guess what Harliss was making?
There have been some big distance names that have expressed interest. I can't see UNC throwing her out after just a year. She had to know that Harlis was on the hot seat to begin with going to UNC. Was this her end game all along?
Would you want your kid running for him? Great role model. Seems like it has a lot to do with coaching actually.

It may very well prove true that Andrea grossly over-played her hand. With zero Head coaching experience and minimal success, some other more established coaches applying may perk up the interest of the AD and alumni. It also seems like she didn't try to make the whole team look much better after cross country season ended? How did recruiting end up for UNC in distance area?

So all these white coaches that are out here doing dirt and Actually getting caught, some who date, marry, abuse power are not getting called out. Oh and some keep their jobs and/or get rehired at other places of prestige.
K.D. is no monster, so stop this silly crap, if you have a problem with him, be a human being and express it to him direct.
he knows he's in the wrong why else would he delete old account and start a new one

Andrea will certainly get an interview at UNC and since the job opening was only open for a week one can assume they did not want tons of applicants. Looks like this is set up for Andrea
She has already interviewed. Curious about some of the negative comments on here about her - why is that? Not looking to defend, just genuinely curious. I know a couple of her former athletes and they seemed to really like her, so just wondering what the negatives seem to be? From what I know of M.Smith, I wouldn’t blame anybody for not wanting to stick around for long.
