Will there finally be a new trend of ADs holding track accountable for success? That’s 2 so far this year were it was directly stated as such.

Harlis Meaders out at UNC:
https://www.tarheeltimes.com/article106961.aspxUNC will not renew the contract of Harlis Meaders, Head Coach and Director of Men's and Women's Track and Field and Cross Country, when it expires at the end of June, Director of Athletics Bubba Cunningham announced Tuesday. "We have not achieved the level of success...that we expect, and it is time to take the program in a new direction."
Finally. I’m proud of UNC. The narrative that you can’t fire a minority for sucking is finally dying.
Not sure where that BS line you said "you can't fire a minority for sucking" came from. Minority head coaches in the Power 5 seem to be held to a higher level and fired quicker than other head coaches.
Ken Harden/ UNC Alumni.
Honestly....pretty poorly. Haven't gotten any feedback at all really..
Didn’t central Michigan’s women just win the MAC indoor and Outdoor. Safe to say that She is safe for another year.
Head coaches getting fired and replaced by assistants......it happens. Georgia, Illinois State, Notre Dame
... Mississippi State
Miss state needs a clean slate.

Front runners?
Early rumors were Jerry Clayton. But money wasn't right. Funny how schools can get money fixed when candidate pools dry up. So maybe a he is still in it.
Check my past post... he was a "chump from jump" Too much program for him.
Maybe a D-2.
I hope the AD gives the coach from NCAT a look see..
right? How has Miss State not gone after NCAT hard is confusing. These ADS are lost. Harlis was never head coach material. He didn't even do anything in his own group of note in 7 years.

April Thomas anyone?!
Head coach material?
No, if was truly that great of a coach she would have developed a full throws program. But for some reason can't. Any team that thinks its wise to put 3 scholarships into 1 gender javelin is a bad Leader. Not saying she would do that as a coach but where is her program? Several programs out there that could get 3 80m level guys but would never fund the event. This kind of leadership is why Miss State is looking for a head....
Mike Jackson, Towson HC, going for USF job

The NCAT coach would do better at miss st, as it’s much harder to get kids into UNC that’s the downside of the position.

The Monday after NCAAs! Let’s get this show on the road!
Who’s going to Mississippi State? My Guess is they hire Chris Woods
Who are they looking at for USF? My Guess is a few assistants were approached at the NCAA meet.
What’s going on at Jackson State? Are they hiring a new head for women or combining the program?
Who is Dion Miller hiring to assist him to pick up where ASU is lacking in the sprints? Perhaps a colleague from Alabama or Texas Tech?
Who is taking a cue from the USF AD and restructuring their failing track programs? Tennessee, Memphis, Ole Miss, Clemson???
Also who is going to Cal? Seems like the votes are in and it will be the Olympian Khadevis Robinson
It’s sounding like Khadevis ran his mouth prematurely at NCAA’s. Typical.
Why not a tar heel alum. Ken Harnden...
I’m sure Ken makes more money as an assistant at UT than as a head at UNC
