Miller will clean house post-NCAAs. Rasmussen ahead of curve and in line somewhere else?

Wasn't West named head coach in waiting last year? Did he not want to be a power six head coach?
He has some really great assistants if he wants to keep them around. Blutreich has shown time again he can build and sustain a high level throws program for example.
He’ll clean house, except maybe Bluetrich. He and Kraft most likely letting staff with people who could make NCs chance to finish things out.
Director of Ops Open at Villanova
Wonder if Tim Hall will stay at Kentucky or finally take over a program of his own. With the rise of Daniel Roberts and his success everywhere he has been it would be about time. Not to mention being coach of arguably the fastest man on the planet in Christian Coleman.
Obviously Blu didn't want the Head job Headache (Don't Blame him). He earned it though. They will Def keep him on, he is by far the best coach on staff if not nation.

Kraft mentions his coaching staff, even mentions volunteer coaches but fails to mention Rasmussen the women's distance coach?
I thought I was the only one who caught that LOL. It's a sad state what their distance group has become. On both sides really
Highly doubt that Kraft would purposely leave out Jeremy. Most likely a sports info error.
As for the distance group ... less scholarships and more competition on the west coast. It’s not the same as it was 15 years ago.
Got to give credit to Boise State, USF, New Mexico and various other programs emerging over the last decade that hoard up the distance talent. It’s so much harder today than it was when ASU distance was a power.
Tough to balance being great on the track and in XC without competitive stacking campus aid options.

What's up at Baylor? They just put a very short, vague post up for an assistant hurdles coach?
Sprints or hurdles? What's going on with this?
Who was the XC Coach at Arkansas Little Rock?

It was Ray Walker. He was at the conference meet. The head track coach there just finished his first year, and they continue to struggle. On the women's side their only real points came from a Jamaican distance runner, so it seems odd that he is the one on staff to get the boot. Other than that I have no real info as to what is going on there.
Arkansas State discreetly got rid of their distance coach mid year as well.

Speaking of balance, I wouldn't call what they are doing so much as hoarding distance talent as I would call it sacrificing a balanced team. When it gets down to it, it's just laziness. I can see maybe having to make the tough decision of focusing on 2-2.5 areas of discipline because you only have 12.6 on the men's side, but on the women's
Actually the Arkansas State distance coach got fired once he walked off the bus after their conference XC Championship. It was basically a summary execution ??

Also coached Brianna Rollins Felecia Brown Dezerea Bryant Shania Collins
The list of developing athletes is long
Don’t forget Kendra Harrison and Dezera Bryant both followed Hall to Kentucky.
Look at the NCAA qualifiers just released. Whatever background the head coach has, that's what his team is going to put emphasis on and be strong in.
I heard that Memphis we’ll have two -three openings up sometime this summer. Big surprise. It’s a revolving door.
Say you only have two assistants: Sprint and Distance. Which one should coach 800m?
I say Sprint ... agree?
4/8 sprints, 8/15 distance
