Are you a paid collegiate coach?
Nate isn't listed on the Stanford website anymore. Does anybody know if he'll still be the jumps coach there? If not, who is in charge of jumps?
Nate is out and Andy Eggerth is in stay tuned. You all didn't believe it when they said he was spotted on campus. Heard , allegedly a situation regarding a head coach involved other coaches at a previous institution. Stanford AD was not pleased to find this out after the hire.
Let’s see. You’ve got a head coach who has consistently been losing in an awful conference. A female sprints coach that was fired from a bad program (that’s right a female got fired). A distance coach that can’t seem to stay someplace for over a couple years...... sounds like a place I’d want to work...... you go from a winning coach to this mess. Administration must be idiots!
Actually, it's brilliant. The program's success managed to keep the program alive. Recall...a few years back men's track was facing depletion, while scholarships and operational budgets were cut across the board. Cutting Jenkins' program would face backlash. Cutting a bad program can be justified. Operation good to bad.
You tried to cite race when the truth is about quality. Why pick 5 years, go back more years. The jump from JC to Power 5 is significant. Recruiting is very different. Juco is the wild wild west, the cost is night and day, the ability to cater/help at risk student athletes is severely hampered at the P5 level, and lastly it is about coaching. More than a few of these coaches have failed miserably, you can name the successful ones, and the coach in Oregon is the only successful one out west, he might be the only successful one in the country right now. Black white male or female, the jump is hard
Kane was just FIRED by adidas for Michelle-Lee Ahye(10.82) testing positive via skipping 3 drug tests?....and then gets hired by FSU the same week.?
Some people have all the luck!

uh Proof?
(maybe putting it in all caps makes it factual)
Since when does a coach get fired for the negligence of an athlete; who, by the way has only been provisionally suspended?
lolllllllllll, for realz? You are either stone cold stupid or c l e a r l y do not like Matt Kane and will attempt to scrape the flintstone with lies and smears. Nice try, as you attempt to act like Michelle Lee-Ahye is the only decent athlete whom he's developed and coached.
u r funny ?
If you check your history book, you will see these are some of the JC coaches who made a successful jump to the big time.
Verne Wolf (USC), Jim Bush (UCLA), Bob Larsen (UCLA), Tom Tellez (Houston), Pat Henry (LSU/ A &M), Dennis Shaver (LSU), Ted Banks (UTEP), Bud Winter (San Jose), Ken Matsuda (USC), Berny Wagner (Oregon State)
The original question was about the last 5 years. You just named a different era. Keep up next time
Matt Adams to GCU?
Why pick 5 years, go back more years.
Here is what was being responded too!!!
Worse summer ever for jobs! Best summer ever for people who never coached before!

Looks like Nate Arnold has been removed from the website, and Iggy has been added for the jumps position (found this via the staff directory on the main athletics website).
What gives?

"What's the over and under on this coaches stay? I'll open the bidding at 2 years-maybe more like 1 when he finds out that the bulk of the $$ is going to international distance runners. Could be more if he can consistently score great jumpers from Europe."
Alright who had a the under time to pay up? Anyone? Another Sue Parks Assistant leaving for better pastures. Don't know what it is but her people get good gigs.
GCU hired the guy from Queens College. Matt's staying at Marshall
