Congrats, your rationale for track and field hires is about as inept and juvenile as most administrations.
And by the way, if you’ve ever been to the coaching conference, you’d very well know there is a HIGH number of female representation with clinics and symposiums solely directed and tailored for “Women Only”.
So please, don’t act like decisions should be made when you take ridiculous anecdotes of lacking “diversity”.
If admin really wanted to be transparent and worshipped at the alter of “Diversity & Inclusion”, then they should at least have the f’ing balls to explicitly say who should NOT apply to this job in the posting. Do it. Stand your ground. List the race and gender of whom shouldn’t apply. Cowards.
In the end, results speak for themselves. That’s why the sport is so great!
