Stanford canceled their home XC meet this year. Not sure why they did that but the high school teams really counted on them hosting a big meet. If they don’t care about home XC, maybe they won’t care about home track meets either. In that case, ops becomes secondary to filling the other positions.
Lol they canceled it two years ago and it was fine. Don't be so dramatic.
Stanford XC Invite is/was the best meet in Northern California for decades. The collegiate races have suffered recently with the whole at-large points thing, but the HS meet was still top notch, and it has been the only meet in the northern half of the state that drew top teams from SoCal, Nevada, Oregon, etc.
The more years it's cancelled, the more teams will will stop making it a fixture in their schedule, and even if the meet continues, the quality will suffer.

That distinction belongs to George O’leary.
Throws at USF, Standford, and Villanova. Who is going where?
Davis, Fullerton, Asheville is open as well.

Asheville?
Danny left already?!
It is certainly not Stanford, nor JJ's, job to provide those meets. However, they have become a fixture. If Stanford decides to pull back on those, which is totally their right to do so, there will be a lot of programs scrambling for qualifying opportunities. Does that spread things out? Does another meet takes its place?

Heard that Marcus and Gina at Villanova weren’t too impressed with the initial candidate pool. Not sure how things have gone since early July though.
No, throws position
Any word of possible replacements for Amy G?
Another example that all that matters is who you know. Never heard of this guy or the college.
