Thanks for the self promotion piece Kyle. Lol anyone posting on here about how great a hire a DIII school made IS THAT PERSON. (Or a family member)
We need to move on from these comments. It's unproductive and immature. Nobody cares about your reaction to a reaction.
Further, Kyle is the kind of guy who would still have a flip phone if he didn't have to recruit. There's not a single chance on this planet that Kyle wrote that message, and if you'd ever met him, you'd know that. Sorry you feel the need to air your grief on here, but maybe consider a different method.
I know Kyle, but I'm not Kyle. For Southern Virginia, an LDS school, Kyle is a fantastic hire. He's a good coach and a great father, and Southern Virginia is in a very difficult position monetarily. This is the kind of school that would alternatively upset the LR groupthink by hiring a local marathoner for a part-time job.
What pogo said.
Great guy, solid coach and I’m not Kyle either.

I mean sure. But it’s quite easy to make sure you don’t hire a woman between 25 & 40 with a spouse or serious significant other...especially if they already have one or two small children. No staff of mine will be down a coach for any serious amount of time...& on the rare occasion it has been, I’ve found a way to legally get rid of her. Cheers!
Either you're lying or you're flirting with legal disaster! Cheerio!
Hoping this guy is a troll, but this would be a good time to track an IP address.

I don't believe she left IPFW. What are you talking about?
It says it on her Facebook bio.

According to facebook, she is the new XC coach at Wake Forest
since landing a coaching job is so easy as a woman, i'll keep that in mind . a great fall back career for an inexperienced novice. never have to worry about being unemployed!

Is this more evidence that Van Hoy and Chewens are on their way to Stanford?
I'll chime in also on Stanford. We have fools like Crystal Ballz that clearly is not a collegiate coach, and has little clue about the magnitude of each position. Whether we like it or not, Stanford is the most important place for distance running in the US. More top level performances have come out of Stanford than any other place in the country. With next year being an Olympic year Stanford will become a central place for athletes to try and run fast. Therefore, having a person that understands this importance is crucial. And that person is the Director of Operations/Meet Director. I'd say that the person who was doing that job before (Jess Riden) and did an amazing job was much more important than some of the other slackass assistant coaches who Miltenberg had. You could have gotten rid of some of the assistants and no one would have known. So JJ Clark should place a very high priority on who the next Meet Director is.

Incredible. She is not a good coach.
The fool named Crystal Ballz has been a Division I college coach for 17 years.
I don't mind that you are head of the Jess Riden fan club. More power to you. But you said the hiring of Stanford's Director of Ops is more important than the other assistant coaching positions. And I say it isn't even debatable. I will state it again in plain English. The people coaching the Stanford athletes are infinitely more important than the person who decides where the team hotel will be for the Mt. Sac Relays!
Problem at Oklahoma not being able to find a XC coach is the Head Coach. He is on a very hot seat, and if not big improvements next year will be fired. So very few people what to come into that type of position
Jumps position open at La Tech, was posted on the 7th, wonder where Wes is headed. CUSA is going to have a few new faces next year in the coaching box.

She also interviewed at Toledo. Couldn't get out of IPFW fast enough.

I'll help you narrow it down...I'm with one of my former athletes.

So which female will take her job at Utah?
So, we’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. Can we conclude that the UCSB administration needs some change in leadership? What in the world is going on. There should have been a permanent head coach hired over a year ago and they’re still sitting on their thumbs doing nothing after their Pete Dolan manhunt ended. Thought Gray Horn was doing an okay job as interim, but he bolted out of there quickly. Anybody have any insight at all?
