They have hired a head coach.
Who is their lead man?
Anyone know who the new head coach at Monmouth will be?
When is Miami going to make this announcement?
How about the XC/Distance coach at Maryland?
Add Akron to available sprint jobs assuming that Dennis hasn’t lured Vince Anderson to the Rubber City...

Any ideas on who Robyne will hire? She got rid of Nick already, who else will survive (besides Chas)
I don't think Chas is staying
just look at his twitter. #notfired
Some guy that was let go at Radford. Their admin obliviously doesn’t care about track. Had to be better applicants than that!

No
Zero waivers, zero slots, zero whatever you want to call it at ND

Ah they kept him at his old role. Makes sense.
Who is Miami hiring?

Things have started to settle in the California coaching scene. Staff completions are in the process right now. Here is a current update on California coaching positions:
Cal (Head Coach) - Robyne Johnson
CSUN- (Head Coach) - Justin Johnson
Stanford- (Head Coach) - JJ Clark
UC Davis - (Head Coach) - Ngoni Makusha
UCSB- (Head Coach) - Darius Terry
UC Irvine (Distance Coach) - Decision August 1st. It's down to two: Current Big West Coach vs Former Pac-12 Coach
That's sickening. UCI head cross country coach only paid between 33k-37k the last 7 years.
So who are the Big West vs PAC 12 candidates then? Damn they must be starving.

I agree. Not sure who the finalists are. But they are either desperate or financially stable. Can’t be anything in between.
with the coaching shuffle happening every year is it customary for these coaches to reach out, after the fact, with some type of communication to committed athletes and athletes they had been recruiting.
Or basically are athletes just supposed to hear about it on letsrun or on twitter

Good point about financially stable.
Based if hint was right maybe Tom Walsh? Looking at all the other Big West Assistants cant really see any of them wanting to go to Irvine unless Darius and Emma dont get retained and they're trying to get anything. Or maybe some Fullerton/Long Beach 2nd assistant distance coach.
So no one wants to say names for Rutgers or wku?
Was informed today Transylvania University is in search of a full-time distance/cross coach and a part-time assistant track (sprints/hurdles) for this coming year.
Here's what I found on their site:
Must mean that they didn't hire a distance coach for the head job
