What the hell is UCSB doing? They wronged Dolan a year and and half ago and still do not have a permanent head coach. That said the majority of the coaching carousel in California is just a mess.
UCSB and UC Irvine both to announce on August 1st. The interview process for the UC system is very slow. The UCSB hire will not be a surprise. The UC Irvine hire will surprise some people.
rutgers between SMU, Indiana State, and grand canyon throws coaches. Atleast instagram makes it look hat way. USF who wants to work for cheap cheap cheap?

If Diljeet is part of that group it’s hard to see why they don’t just make the hire already. Question is what she does with the assistants. It’s a pretty good staff, she could do a lot worse than asking most of them to stay.
heard that she turned it down. must be why its dragging out.
This is accurate. Diljeet is no longer an option for the farm.

Sammy Walker & Micheal Carter's legacy is officially dead
Their legacy was officially dead when SMU dropped the men's program.

I won't compromise the UC brain trust. Next week, both schools will announce. UCSB hire will not surprise. And the UC Irvine hire will surprise, but not for the reason you might think.

Nothing against those guys but for that program they seem more like backup picks. Surprising
