Now that Hartmann has confirmed to CMU and the svsu job was posted last week, anyone have some inside information on candidates?

Didn't he quit his last job mid-season?
Boy. Those hires have really changed their outcomes.. ha. Still 10th..
Curious questions: So, with Stanford starting school in September, its annoying they don't have a coach yet but it isn't detrimental. Whichever coaches they take, if they take from a school that starts in August it is going to leave those programs in shambles as student-athletes won't have coaches when they are already in school. Why do you think it's taking Stanford so long to announce? They should have a bit more consideration for the athletes they are taking coaches from.

UC Davis, ouch.
Great athlete, but that’s an all-time bad hire. He was volunteering at FSU, didn’t coach or recruit
They don't really care about coaching experience it seems. Just if you have a little and if you were an Olympian for some country.
BU down to Spangler, Gabe, and Kebba.

If Diljeet is part of that group it’s hard to see why they don’t just make the hire already. Question is what she does with the assistants. It’s a pretty good staff, she could do a lot worse than asking most of them to stay.
heard that she turned it down. must be why its dragging out.
What the hell is UCSB doing? They wronged Dolan a year and and half ago and still do not have a permanent head coach. That said the majority of the coaching carousel in California is just a mess.

If you are a Stanford athlete, just ask the Stanford athletic administrators (instead of rumors on a bogus message board);
It’s the administrators’ job to keep student-athletes informed.

This happens every year to many schools.. it's not that tricky or complicated. Everyone will figure it out

andrea will end up somewhere great for her. bobby will end up in a bike shop.
I think Dudley poisoned the well for him on his way out. Not only did he not get the head job, but got demoted from associate head coach, so I don't think he could have stayed forever...
Is it the cost of living? Expectations? Or admin being too picky? What do you all think is the hold up?
All of the above
Football locker rooms? What does that have to do with investing in XC and Track? There are hundreds of programs around the country who have amazing football facilities, but not track and XC facilities. I had to laugh at that statement! LSU is a powerhouse in football so of course they have great state of the art FB facilities!

I take it you have never been to LSU. Their track facilities are top notch also. They are also a powerhouse in track. The football locker rooms are just an example to show that the school can afford to blow away Franks with an offer way above what he was making in order to entice him to leave him alma mater.
