Agreed. Volunteer coaches should pay their dues by getting coffee and holding clipboards, not actually coaching an athlete to a national Championship. What’s next? Athletes wanting to transfer to a school with a good coach so they can get better? Outrageous!
I don't know any volunteers who are getting anybody coffee. I bet if you tried that on a female applicant they'd probably file a lawsuit.
I am a volunteer and I get coffee pretty regularly unfortunately lol. Not that I don't do more important stuff too but if that's the worst of my dues (outside of being unpaid) then I'll take it.

You're right. McGuire won't accept anything but the Director's job. Stanford won't give him the director's job. So, cross him off your list. BAS, Smith, Franklin, and Schumacher. Your new Stanford head coach will come from this list. Who do ya got?

What a terrific show of support for his wife. Coaches tend to get the rap for dragging their families all over the place. It’s nice to see that you don’t have to do that to be successful in the business. Best wishes to the Heins Family, and hope that he has great success there!

But how is their women’s basketball program? That’s all that’s good in Connecticut. And David letterman.
Kevin Costner for Director at Stanford. He did great in that running movie, and you saw how happy he was when his team ran well in the Bay Area.
