It makes sense only if they move McRaven to assistant head coach with greater responsibilities in the track program. Is this the succession plan?
How old do you think McRaven is? A little early for succession plans, haha.
I think what he is saying is Henry is getting ready to step down so they might elevate McRaven to take over in a few years, which opens the door to bringing in Ondrasek now. I hear a lot about Ondrasek on this board but I really don't know what makes him such a strong candidate for these bigger jobs.

Heard they are looking for a female to recruit and do the grunt work, not looking for someone who can actually coach.
Schumacher to Stanford is done. Welcome back to the collegiate ranks!
What's up with Drury? Have they not made a hire? Looks like they reposted the job.
If true that sucks. That be the start of the brakes being applied to the carousel
why are you posting this like anyone cares about the glvc
Why not?
Even if he is interested- can the team wait until after Shu gets his pro team thru Nationals? Still weeks to go for that. Cards are probably flying alone for summer training, as the cardinal runner said in a previous post. They are in the dark. Maybe ADs should consider an alum or volunteer coach to help the current team if it is still weeks until the decision. Stanford might have the director already and are currently puzzling together assistants in the likely event the rest are moving out east.. In the meantime this delay is a field day for milt. A track day too. Every week risks transfers- not to mention losing 2020 recruits (crazy fast class) Get the Powell’s back to the farm. Or Smith from NM. Try harder. If housing is included, that’s the big cost of living problem solved. Still cant believe this isn't a dream job for better coaches. STANFORD.
Schumacher on farm would be incredible. Prove it.
Does Dobert stay on as Bowerman coach or do they all move to Palo Alto? I don’t think any coach on earth could manage both!
And why would you want out of Bowerman?
Maybe he doesn’t want his kid coached by BAS
Heard he got fired

Any distance coach who doesn't have next job already set and "leaves", has gotten fired. That being said, sometimes the head track coach fires the distance coach to give him/herself one more year as head coach. Got it?

On campus interviews this week. Probably offer to come next week. I heard females candidates as well, but hear that they interviewed a few men from PA/NJ area schools.
You guys are mildly retarded. Vince is gone, will replace with another sprint coach for the ladies. That’s it. Just shut up and wait, this stuff doesn’t happen overnight. Protocol has to followed.

My thoughts exactly...
Any word on Frostburg State University and South West Minnesota State University?
