Hoping Clemson looks to improve.... UNC did worse than Clemson in XC . It would be taking a step back

I believe the poster is referencing Andrea Grove-McDonough (former UNC coach). As for where she is heading I have no idea.
Guesses would be Toledo, Clemson and possibly Stanford?
If Stanford doesn’t hire internally, then that will open up a position also.

The new distance coach has done a lot for the team in terms of recruiting and team culture and will continue to improve things there. The jumps coach has had great success with improving his multi group, taking Erinn Beattie to nationals (both indoor and outdoor) as a multi and in high jump. She was also named to the NACAC roster and competed in high jump.
The multis/jumps coach is not returning. He has been the only coach to qualify an athlete for nationals in recent years.
