Does anyone know what the UC Davis jumps/multis coach is doing since the head left?

Ben dalton to Baylor. This dude didn’t run run track then held shavers clipboard for two years. Turned that into a head job (fail) now gets another power 5 job. Only track and field would hand these jobs to a glorified GA who never did anything.
Anyone know of anything in the Toledo Head Coach search? Interviews starting soon?

Dalton did a very good job with very few resources at UNO. He's a talented coach who has put in the time and effort to get where he is. Nice hire by Baylor.
Western Michigan is hiring within.
Add Wake Forest, that’s still open.
Boston University- Head
Western Kentucky- Head and possibly staff
UNC Chapel Hill- possibly bringing in his staff
Arizona State- assistant women’s sprints, jumps and operations
University of Memphis- sprints
University of South Florida- possibly bringing in his staff
University of Southern Cal- Jumps
App State- throws
Texas A&M- sprints
Savannah State- sprints
University of Maryland- Jumps
UC Davis- Head
Fresno State- Head
Jackson State- ?
Austin Peay- ?
Campbell University- ?
University of Georgia- ?
Wake Forest Sprints?
Long time reader first time writing- worst hire of the summer. Ben is a joke of a coach and person. Just try sitting down with the person and you’ll see. Kids hated him, coaches hated him and still unsure how someone so unsuccessful keeps landing jobs.
Add Rutgers throws
Lol. New orleans was trash for any D1 program. Keep on living off those shaver clipboard years Ben.

I believe the poster is referencing Andrea Grove-McDonough (former UNC coach). As for where she is heading I have no idea.
Guesses would be Toledo, Clemson and possibly Stanford?
If Stanford doesn’t hire internally, then that will open up a position also.

maybe you can creep her on IG and see if you can identify the bridge she was crossing yesterday...

The situation at Davis is at an all time low. Poor performance at conference meets in fall and spring. Head coach out, multis/jumps coach out. Athletic admins doubling down on new distance coach and her fiancé/husband as program cornerstones.
It will be hard to attract good candidates for this position with this as the starting point.
The new distance coach has done a lot for the team in terms of recruiting and team culture and will continue to improve things there. The jumps coach has had great success with improving his multi group, taking Erinn Beattie to nationals (both indoor and outdoor) as a multi and in high jump. She was also named to the NACAC roster and competed in high jump.

Does she really need to be that desperate? Surely something better will open up for her this summer?
