Here's AT&T tempting the DOJ to take action, in raising rates and cutting channels for subscribers after their merger with Time Warner. "Oh, this merger will reduce prices!"
The Internet is getting faster and better. But it may not stay that way. Democrats are pushing legislation that would put Washington in charge of the Internet. Here’s what that means for you:
What Democrats are jamming through Congress doesn’t stop the bias. And it doesn’t protect your data or your privacy.
Republicans have a better plan:
The Internet doesn’t need saving BY Washington. It needs saving FROM Washington.

Coincidentally, it was exactly 10 years ago that Nobel Prize Winner Al Gore informed us that the North Pole would be Completely Ice-Free by within 5 years in 2013 (YouTube has memory-holed it, of course, though his similar event commentary in 2009 (more speaking fees!) is available)
Correct, that is a coincidence. In fact, it isn't even remotely related.
The fact that Al Gore is an idiot doesn't change the fact that:
1) climate change is real, man made, and will negatively impact our lives progressively over the next decades.
2) removing net neutrality has the potential to limit access to information in a way the majority of Americans believe would be unfair.
1) Climate change is real and is natural occurring, with man having very little impact on it.
2) Environmental issues such as pollution and chemical waste are real, and is what we SHOULD be focusing nearly all of our attention on.
3) In the event that you want to make ANY (even ANY is a question mark) possible impact on naturally occurring climate change, are you willing to give up on the essentials of life you take for granted today? Are you willing to pay at least 3x the price you currently pay on utilities bills? Are you willing to accept the fact that other developing countries will continue to ignore their "carbon footprint" on the world, or are you willing to go to war with these countries to enforce these laws?
Answer these actual tough questions, be honest, think for yourself, and don't simply virtue signal to make yourself feel better by spewing talking points.
1) Man made climate change is real.
In addition to natural occurring climate change, which happens very slowly over thousands of years, man made climate change has been occurring quite rapidly, with dire consequences in a very short time. Man made climate change has already been responsible for the extinction of many species, and very little has been done to stop it.
2) Environmental issues such as fracking, oil and gas leaks, fossil fuel pollution and hazardous chemical waste are real and are just a part of the causes. We need to be focusing all of our attention on these things, and holding the fossil fuel companies responsible for the damage they're causing. They need to stop getting government funding and tax breaks, and pay to clean up the waste and pollution that they've caused.
3) We need to change from fossil fuel technology, to solar, wind and geothermal.
4) Naturally occurring climate change, which occurs very slowly, is not a threat to our current civilization, but man made climate change is an immediate threat to every species on the planet, including humans. Already many societies are being displaced from their homes due to man made caused climate change.
We need to get busy, act now, and change the way that we do things so we can protect the planet and save humanity.
The full U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia declined to rehear an October 2019 ruling that upheld the repeal of net neutrality rules.
FCC Chairman Ajit Pai supports the court’s decision, a spokeswoman for the independent federal agency said. “The internet has remained free and open, consumers have been protected, speeds have increased, and more and more Americans have gotten access to broadband,” she said.
The EPA was created to protect the environment and people from industrial pollution.
It has now been captured by the industrial polluters and is being used to enhance their profit margin at the expense of harming the environment and killing people. Rolled back coal regulations will lead to more than 1000 premature deaths every year.
The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau was created to protect people from predatory actions of the financial industry. It has now been captured by the financial industry and is being used to enhance their profit margin at the expense of people's pocketbooks.
The FCC was created to protect people from corporate communications companies using their monopolistic position to gouge money from ordinary Americans.

My wifi bill has gone up 25% and my speed has dropped 30%.
Crap like that has been going on in dozens of government agencies ever since trump won the electoral college.
