stanford got so many top tier recruits, and on stanford's website it says Grant Fischer is just a sophomore (probably not updated) but if he is they will definitely win ncaas in the next few years

and not to get too excited but i wonder if stanford is on cole hocker's list? hocker hasn't announced where he is going yet
This list definitely is not complete
You missed both Jack Stanley (NXN-19 and FL-7) and Abby Loveys (FL-29) going to Princeton.
Also Sean Dolan going to Nova which is weird because doesn't his dad coach at upenn?
Please take Sam Assforder off the list. The kid is horrible. He only gets attention because of his last name and all the PR their family tries to drive. He is this year's Joey DeFeo.
I feel I should point out that after running horribly at NXN, Affolder bounced back with a 4:11 indoor mile in what was obviously one of the most important races of the season. Indoor miles in December are the pinnacle of distance running. Afforder was simply “saving it for Zurich.” He knew NXN wasn’t that important and that the indoor mile was where it was really at. He is #1
sorry to trigger you. i was only going off the milesplit top 25. if you feel others need to be included then please feel free to contribute
Affolder will be the next sub 4.
Alex Maier- Oklahoma State
Rowen Ellenburg- Wisconsin
Parker Stokes- Georgetown
Vincent Mauri- Arizona State
Joe Waskom- Washington
Ryan Adkins- Miami of Ohio
Acer Iverson- Harvard
Colin Baker- Harvard
Connor Livingston- Princeton
Camren Fisher- Princeton
Richard Stertevant- Yale
Connor Nisbet- Princeton
Stanford- so many recruits, so few podiums.
why does everyone named conor go to princeton (conor lundy too)
looks like it is also the most common name on their current roster, 2 other guys
Affolder is #1 wrote:

Actually, to correct you, he ran horribly at NXN because he is a horrible runner. "saving it for zurich", uh sure. An indoor mile in dec is the pinnacle? you have not a clue there azzfolder family. You should be ashamed to admit he is part of your family. He is an over-hyped do nothing. The other post that said he is the next sub 4 - well maybe in the 1500. Sorry to say but he won't do anything and doesn't deserve to even be mentioned in this thread.

sarcasm aside, i think it's surprising more elites don't hop in one or two indoor races in december to see where they're at before taking a little break
are we talking about the same sam affolder? because the one we are talking about runs for loudon valley. they just won back to back NXN titles. individually he won the 1600 state title (both indoor and outdoor) and was runner up in the 3200 during outdoor. 3rd at millrose games last season. 2x state champ in XC. was 2nd at NXN regional back to back years. as a soph was runner up in 1600 and 3200 at PA state meet.
he had a bad race at NXN this year and still finished 31st.....let that sink in. had a horrible race and finished 31st in the country. trolling can be fun but dont be disrespectful like that

You are completely clueless. I know you likely share the same DNA though. He just isn't all that. Look, he is a decent runner. I mean I'm sure if he ran D3 he'd win a race or two before he graduates, well maybe. His family and team goes on these PR campaigns like they are the Mannings or something. It's hysterical. Look at some of the other runners who you never hear from but they just go out and...….. wait...…… WIN.
Brutal stuff for Oregon

..?
This was the first year since 2013 that the Stanford Men have not made the podium for Cross-Country.
2018: 5th
2017: 4th
2016: 2nd
2015: 3rd
2014: 2nd
Correct me if I am wrong, but no other team has been top 5 for past 5 years on the men's side?
Obviously missing a national title, but still the most consistently excellent team in the past 5 years (besides NAU, of course)

Ryan Adkins is going to Butler.
I think in VA you can get the states' qualifying time at any point in the season, so they do it right after XC and take Christmas time off. Wish other states did that.
