This thread reminds me of back in the day when we used to have what was euphemistically called the UFO officer on the Air Force base. It was a secondary duty given to some poor unfortunate who had to investigate and interview a member of the public who saw something in the air around the base they were suspicious of.

Unfortunately the local loonies found out about the UFO officer role and he got inundated with the conspiracy theorists and local lunatics all wanting to report and be interviewed to put forward their way out beliefs, theory's and imaginary sightings. It all got too much and the position was disestablished, it died a natural death but the lunatics kept on believing, just like the ones on this thread.

Yep, the anti-hoax believers *fundamentally* have the distressed position, as their position can't ever be falsified! So they can go on believing in "man on moon" until the cows come home. But for those who discern the NASA hoax, simply sending another human to Earth's Moon would IMMEDIATELY disprove them!! 3 seconds is an approximate round trip time.

e.g.

1) Mission Control transmits message

2) (~1.5 second propagation delay earth to moon)*

3) Moon crew response transmission

4) (~1.5 second propagatin delay moon to earth)

5) Mission Control hears response delayed by two propagation delays or about 3 seconds.

Note that this explains why, in earth based recordings there is no apparent delay between receiving a message from the moon and the earth base's response. The delay is only apparent in the moon base's response to the earth side transmission. Likewise a recording on the moon side would show the delay only on the earth side responses.

* The worst case delays are somewhat longer than the simple distance to the moon (1.3 to 1.35 seconds) because there is a data link hop from Mission Control Houston to the transmit station with the best view of the moon. e.g. Houston Texas to Parks Observatory Australia to the moon and back.

Exactly! How about this fact which the anti-hoaxers cannot excuse away: sounds were heard when an actornaut was banging a hammer against a post while on the moon. This is impossible in a vacuum.

This has nothing to do with the validation of feelings but with an actual sitution that violates the laws of physics. Try again.

The very faint muffled sounds heard can be caused by vibrations transmitted from the mallet thru the glove into the pressurized air in the space and be picked up the microphone in his helmet. The asteonaut and the microphone are both in the pressurized environment of his spacesuit. The effect is like a phonograph needle turning vibrations into sounds.

There is always a logical scientific explanation.

The real evidence with hammer and vaccum, is when purported NASA moon-walker David Scott "drops" the feather too to demonstrate it. But by "proving" its a vaccum, this DISPROVES it occurred on Earth's Moon!!

But let's review basic HS physics!! (like NASA kiddie-math)

From the video, we already apparently see that the hammer + feather BOTH take no more than 1.1 seconds (27 frames to be generous) to "fall" from height to surface. But we KNOW that formula for distance is D = (1/2) * g * T^2

where g is gravity accelleration (supposedly Moon's) and T is Time. and D is distance

Let's plug-in the variables. Now T= 1.1 (s) at most, while from "basic moon facts" we know g is 1/6 that of Earth! Which is 9.8 m/s^2 in SI units. So on Earth's Moon, it is 1.63 m/s^2, in SI units.

Multiplying, this yields 1/2 * (1.63) * 1.1^2 = 0.986 meters.

BUT LOOK AT VIDEO (action occurs, just before 1:00 minute mark). Where is the starting point of hammer + feather: shoulder height!

This Dave Scott dude is at least about 6 ft tall (including moon boots). So how is his shoulder LESS than 1 meter above the "moon surface" as proven by HS physics math??

This is only a theory on how it could have happened. But science requires testing plus experiment.

The obvious way to prove/disprove your invention, is for USA Astronauts to 'return' to Earth's Moon and conduct more such hammering (in vacua). Then we'd see if the "very faint muffled sounds" do indeed occur as projected.

Someone else can pick holes in all the other stuff you've posted, but have you allowed for the fact that maybe the video isn't rolling at real time speed?

Sure, NASA decided to speed up the tape by 1.5x (or 1.33x) and just for the "drop" segment of hammer + feather. The rest of the video looks enough to natural speed. And WHY would they post a video at not real time speed in the first place?? Just to troll the so-called "Hoax" auditors?!

THere is no listed human-data on NASA concerning "Dave Scott" (if real name) but he is TALLER than USA's Neil Armstrong who climbs to 5 feet 11 inches (in USA measurement units). Compare, Gemini 8 photos. OTOH, if we re-calculate based upon assumption that NASA' slowed the tape segment down by 2x (note pregnant pause "for effect" before the so-called drop), then the calculation with Earth's g-force works almost exactly. It is: 0.5 times 9.8 times 0.55 times 0.55 (squared) = 1.48 meters = 4' feet 10' inches = SHOULDER HEIGHT

Donald Trump has issued an order for the Department of Defense to create a Space Command to oversee and advance the US military’s operations in space.

The US President put his signature under a one-page memorandum to set up the command on Tuesday.

The new body will be aimed at better organizing the military’s operations in space, speeding up technical advances and helping to protect US satellites and other assets in space. The US military has far reaching plans in space as around $800 million is to be invested in the field over the next five years.

In order for the Space Command to be created the Defense Department would have to gather various space units from different military services into an independent organization, sources told AP earlier. They warned that it won’t happen fast, describing the process as “long and complicated”, while the currently existing US Air Force’s Space Command would become the cornerstone of the new body.

The US military already had a Space Command from 1985 to 2002, but it was axed in order to focus resources on fighting terrorism.

Space Command is not the same as the Space Force, which is a branch of the US Armed Forces that Mr Trump proposed in June. The Space Force has not yet come to fruition, as Congress would have to approve its creation. However, the administration says that the Space Command is a step in that direction.
