Camille is doing pretty good at the moment.

That's not that difficult at this stage of the race. Let's wait and see if she is still moving tonight.

Apparently. This is like the 10k at a track meet, a.k.a. dinner time. At least at a track meet by the time you go get something to eat and get back, the jogging is over and there's something interesting starting on the track. This thing just keeps going and going.
Humans can eat & drink without stopping- unlike our prey.
It's kinda cool that I can watch this for a bit, watch the Footlocker races, go out and cruise through eight miles, come back shower, eat and kick back with a beer and they are still at it, barely 1/10 of the way through....

Link no longer working
Nothing’s as relaxing as watching other people work! Go for it, people!
They are working on it.
After 8 hours it looks like Camille is loosing her pace. She is now under her goal pace for 270k.
Thanks! Unbelievable that Kouros did 3 consecutive 7:55 100Ks!
I ran "with" him a half year later when he set the world record for roads in Basel.
7:15 first 100k
7:45 second 100k
8 hours for the last 90k or something like that.
It was very inspiring being part of that race.
Agreed! It's like watching one of those wave machines or a yule log video. But you get to check results every so often. Way fun!

Yeah, he got 1000 miles & I was at, like, 510. You could say I got tired just watching him...
Did dauwalter drop out? Turned on the live feed and saw her walking off and sitting down in the tent. Heard someone say “rest up for next year”. It seemed like a lot for her to do this year, but was rooting for her.
Camille is motoring out sub-2:00 laps, closing gradually on Zach. She has a little less than 15 hours to cover 100 miles!
Yes, Courtney has dropped.
Correction, it seems I picked up wrong data for the 8 hours.
As for 9 hours, Camille is still going strong with 7.5 mph 4 miles ahead of her 167.8 mile goal.
Courtney seems to be out of the race as of 8:40h
