Saturday Afternoon Drinking Game ideas?
World records can’t resist her!
I hope she gets it!
The issue will become if she falls off pace. If she's only going for the WR and falls off pace, does she just pack it in? I could definitely see her doing that (not that I hope to) and living to fight another day (soon) rather than keep going for 24 straight hours and find herself 3 miles short of the record.
Mmmh, Camille has a PR of 92. mi in 24 hours. She is probably the most inexperienced runner in this race.
i hope she doesn't take a wrong turn and get lost

But she has a 100 mile world record...conundrum?

I am more worried that she stumbles and get another concision. But yes, almost every excuse will be possible.

What does that has to do with a 24 hour race?
For starters: You have to RUN 24 hours in order to get a good result in. We have to wait and see what will happens.
It’s a Hail Mary play to hold on to Ultra Runner of the Year over Courtney Dauwalter. Come on, people, who you got?

That's 92 miles in 12 hours, not 24. How do you figure she's inexperienced?

She has never finished a 24 hour race and she has never run longer than 13 hours that's not even 55% of a 24 hour race.

When do you 'finish' a 24hr race? Answer too hard for you??
Its when the 24 hrs are up whether you are on the track or not, or even if you ran 100 miles in 12:42 and went to sleep for 11 hrs...that is the furthest you have gone in 24 hrs
Wishing everyone a safe successful race.
What will be the best way to follow the event
Prize $
Is it $1,000 to the winner or for the WR?

The link for the live results will be published on Saturday morning here.
Prize money for the WR would be $2000 and $600 or $250 for the normal win depending on distance. More here:
