yah I hate crap like this as a Hoosier from definitely a smaller town than greencastle, yah there's so many weird politics and power plays in places like this. I really am rooting for Emma to keep improving under her coach. Sucks but some people got their weird ego and I doubt he's going to be able to come back.
I started a thread about King Football taking over high school CC and T&F programs. Few posted on it.
This is a common problem and is not limited to the way you describe it above.
In addition whoever is saying "this is typical of small town politics," please just stop that idiotic comment.
Every school has politics.
FYI, former Greencastle assistant coach Josh Willer reached out to us about this story and told us the following:
"I grew up in this town, I moved back here like four years ago, and I know how the system is, and I know how people are. And I think that Craig, it started out as a racial bias, and now that Craig technically 'won' last year by getting his job back and getting this guy forced to resign and now somebody’s just pissed off and has it out for him and is going to do anything they can to get rid of him."

Once a Hoosier, always a Hoosier, pal. You passer-byers have not earned the right to be called a Hoosier.
As someone born and breed in indiana and who went to IU, i qualify as a hoosier. also having grown up in a small, rural town, i can tell you the racist crap is out of control and very likely a factor.
You definitely write like a Hoosier!!!
To the “father”, While much of what you write seems to be factual (I can only assume as much as I wasn’t there in the thick of it all), your accusation that the former principal’s actions WERE racially motivated and that the current incident SEEMS racially motivated appear to be gleaned out of thin air. I personally find it offensive to accuse someone or a group of people of being racist (Mets face it, that is was racially motivated means today), without so much as a scentilla of factual evidence to support it. If you have such evidence, post it here and now. If not, please don’t be yet another mindless accuser of racism. The color of that teacher’s skin, standing alone, doesn’t make every good and bad thing in his life the product of racism.
I am bumping this post because it has great potential for several memes on this board. #1 nominee: "Mets face it, that is was racially motivated means today." #2 nominee: "a scentilla of factual evidence." #3 nominee: "To the 'father'." #4 nominee: "gleaned out of thin air." Thank you very much for your contribution to the discourse.
Missed one:
Nominee #5: "The color of that teacher’s skin, standing alone, doesn’t make every good and bad thing in his life the product of racism."

800m (O) – 1:50.59
1,500m – 3:47.00
Mile (I) – 4:06.59
3,000m Steeple – 8:58.84
Definitely good times, but shouldn't he have been faster at 1500/mile?
Only on LetsRun.
Two typos found (so far).... “Mets” should read “Let’s”. And scentilla should be scintilla. My apologies for overly-rapid typing.

This is a lady with some backbone. Good for her! I hope she does well!
Just like Brodey Hasty at Brentwood. Brentwood will now be remembered for quite some time for their idiot administrators. Same for her school.

you are dense, having the national champion on a high school team doesn't generate revenue in cross country or track. The school doesn't care if you have the best team in the state or the worst - as long as you don't create any headaches.
Any coach in xc/tf that thinks they are special enough to be a huge pain in the ass and and still get to keep their job is extremely dumb. Administration just doesn't want to deal with your crap if your sport doesn't generate revenue.
If you cause headaches you'll get the ax.
Track does generate revenue.
do u think schools care? wrote:

Schools do care about PR and having strong Athletics is good for PR. Get smarter, bro.

Although I do agree with your second paragraph. The first paragraph is not even close to accurate though. Schools certainly care about the performance of their teams.
My team won state XC this fall but the AD is still way more focused on football. He would dump the coach in a second if he even looked at him wrong.
I dont think any high school sports generate revenue. Unless your talking abiut those private schools that recruit players from all over the country like IMG academy and Mater Dei.

Just wanted to point out that hyphens are never used after words that end in "-ly."
Keep the hits coming.
Well, aren’t you the little grammar nazi? At least I now know you focus more on the grammar than then meaning of the text itself. Well done...you must be a liberal.
