Has anyone ever experienced coordination issues while running on a treadmill. I don't know what happened to me, but every time I've ran on a treadmill recently I have felt like I was having balance issues for the first 1-2 miles. I don't know if it's an issue with leg coordination or my balance, but it is very off putting. I have kind of felt similar when running outside recently, however I don't think I notice it as much since I'm not trying to stay on a belt. It feels like I am off balance, and I almost have to catch myself several times.
I really noticed it today when I attempted to do a workout on the treadmill. At first I tried going straight to 5:20 pace, but I immmediately felt like I had to keep catching myself and was worried I was going to fall off. I back off to 7 minute pace and slowly worked back to 6 minute pace, but anything faster than that I felt like I was having a ton of this coordination issue and stopped trying to go faster than 6 minute pace. I recently ran a 10 miler at 5:20 pace, so I know it's not an issue with the pace.
Anyone dealt with something like this before?
