hmm no 40K timing mat? seems cheap

Thank for the running commentary (and to Runn3 as well)
Sounds like the gap to both leaders is slowly shrinking?
41 degrees. No wind. Excellent day. The finish should have quite a few big packs splitting up...there's money on the line as well.
Llano with a 5:21 mile 23
2:01 into the race

I agree with you 100%. Neither put in a big move, they just ran even from the start and kept it up.
What? You think the rest of the field should have gone out at 2:10 pace even though none of them will finish there?
Not at all. I'm typing fast here to help others. I meant he didn't run 4:50 pace to get away at the start. That's all I meant.

I dunno it was more like 2:11-flat pace. There were probably some guys that, on a good day, should've given it a go. We can't have it both ways -- there's no depth in men's marathoning but then it's silly for anyone to go for it. Llano has the credentials that if someone wanted to contend for the win (like Lagat maybe) then they should've worked with him, helped him.
Llano falling back after a heroic solo effort.
About 9 minutes to go
by the way there is linking to individuals with realtime split updates like this

Thanks;)
I think Llano has it, yea a 5:19 mile 24 to come thru on 2:12:11 pace. Last couple miles are very forgiving. He should maintain.
1:30 lead for Bates over Bruce
1+ mile to go for Llano

Samantha Roecker. She is the Tracksmith website/catalog cutie.
Thanks
Per athlinks, it looks like Roecker has a 2:38:12 PR from Hartford 2017. Her half split today (1:14:52) may be her fastest half.

Austin just ran a 15:08 5k. Llano has to go!!!!!!!!!

I hope Bates has something left, Bruce looked really strong in those last shots. Bates has great form though. Her head does not move side to side at all!
Matt's gonna do it!
Yea, it looks like Sam might be falling off now but maybe a half PR and she should hang on and run a nice full PR? Low-2:30s (2:30-33 range), pretty solid
