There is literally no site other than Letsrun where people like Bett will be defended or where it will be claimed that the doping busts in Kenya 'prove that Brits (it's always the Brits) and others dope even more. No other site where if somebody like me reveals that Bett' s coach had another athlete suspended for doping and then died age 20, I get accused of racism by a Kenyan runner (El k) or of 'showing my ignorance' by doping apologist creatures such as Spade Detector.
You are insane.
Hi Spade Detector! So why don't you try posting your kind of comments elsewhere, and see what reaction you get? Maybe there's a cycling pro-doping forum or something where you and El K could feel at home, but I have not seen any other running site or forum where these kind of insane comments are even there, let alone almost the majority as in here.
Supposing somebody like Kyle Langford or Jake Wightman were busted for EPO, and it turned out their training partner had already been sent home from the Olympics for presenting their manager's pi$$ as their urine sample, and that their coach had had another athlete suspended for EPO and who died suddenly at 20 (and who despite this was made coach of the Commonwealth team this year), and all this in the same year as multiple other middle-distance British stars had been busted. Do you think ANYONE here would be defending British middle-distance running, or taking it seriously for the next 20 years or ever again? I certainly wouldn't, let alone screaming that it proves Kenyans dope even more, or that it's racist and ignorant to assume the 20 year old athlete died of doping, or I desperately wanted to find an alternative forum where they didn't mention these things.
Mate, I truly feel uncomfortable even acknowledging you here now. It's one thing to weirdly and obsessively defend Kenyan runners after all the doping busts and corruption, it's a new low entirely to be outraged at me, for revealing that Bett's coach had a junior star also busted for EPO who then died at age 20 and WHO WAS THEN MADE COACH OF THE KENYAN 2018 COMMONWEALTH TEAM. You're a slug.
