Well .....Do you know ,Renato. The thing is
that the 100 top athletes in the world in HM and Marathon of today do believe that they are forced to do doubles to stay at the top. They don`t know how to do single sessions correct and still reach at least the same results. It`s like when Bannister broke the 4 min barrier at the mile. He was first, and then a lot of runners saw it was more than possible and just followed sub 4. And of course the volume is important , but not only in the way that you believe in. There is also the way of enough volume that is perfect synchronized to just reach the target. Nothing more,nothing less....just to reach the goal.
