Moved up from 25 in 2017 to 23 this year. I'll settle for both teams being consistently competitive at regionals for a little while, though. Thank god we're good in at least one fall sport, at least!
I hear you. Basketball team may surprise us. They were solid against Butler last night at Butler. I'm going to Oxford (live in McKinney, TX now) Wednesday for the Egg Bowl. I'm going to run the Double Decker 10k course for a workout Thanksgiving morning. Whirlpool trail on Friday. Moved from there in 2012.
No way, I'm in East Dallas! Enjoy the game and Whirlpool trails. Used to live right off them at University Trails and graduated in 2014.
So Colorado does have 3 in the top 10 at 2k but their 5th is 104. NAU's 5th is 30th and they have th e lead.
7 minute mark roughly. Connor mantz of BYU takes the lead. Ryan Fenton called him young. While a freshman, he's 21.
He's been reeled in now at 9 minute mark.

Are Baxter and Day doing the same thing as last year and pushing it up front?
Yes they are the top 2 at 2k

Yeah, why the hell did someone supposedly as fit as Kelati wait until basically two minutes from the finish to drop the hammer? You think the conditions messed her up?
She made her move at 15 min, almost 5 min from the projected finish. The pace was pretty brisk because Rohrer was pushing the pace, which she paid for in the end.

YES my thoughts exactly, she waited way too long, hope NAU duo dont do the samething.

No. Big pack. Fisher is in the lead pack.

Still hard to tell now. Everyone is bunched up in a stalemate at the 4k mark.

Kurgat and Kelati finished 2nd and 5th, that’s not a bad day.
NAU only at 71 points through 2k, and 52 THROUGH 4K. All top 6 in lead pack.
NAU first 5 are all in the top 20
I heard the word "skillset" mentioned in the broadcast. C'mon, broadcasters, use more lame buzzwords and phrases! Hey, it is what it is...at the end of the day...if you will...per se. I wonder if any of these broadcasters focus upon their wellness. Sure they do, because they self-empower.
OK, I only heard the one word that zapped me.
This is Mantz from earlier.

12 minutes at 4k. Top 25 all still within 2.5 seconds of each other.
NAU 72
Portland 118
Colorado 129
Stanford 149
BYU is just 6th. Mantz is 3rd but they don't have anyone else in the top 40. I'll shave my head if BYU wins it.

It’s like a 40 person pack

Yeah, I couldn’t believe Rohrer was trying to lead the thing for so long.
NAU has a 3.3 second spread between and 1 and 6 at 4k. 6th guy is 31st. This baby is OVER!!!
They updated the scores. 52 to 122.
NAU 52, Portland 122, BYU 149 at 4k. But BYU's #2 is behind NAU's #6.
Is Tyler Day wearing half tights? I get the choice given the conditions, I just never picture him as racing in half tights. Makes for a goofy look
OMFG, NAU is up by 70 points at 4k.

While NAU should absolutely win with this kind of start, saying the race is over when they've run less than half the distance is stupid.
