Great. Now the only decent coverage I have is listening to his geek that thought Yuki was trying to get camera time in Boston.
I think we're getting the Kam vs Kitata duel we came for.

Lead pack of men is down to 5 but here is the top 30 at halfway.
Men are running fast. Remember in the history of NY, only 5 men have ever run under 2:08 and we have 5 men on that pace right now!!
In this history of this race dozens and dozens and dozens have hit halfway under 1:04 (including me). Marathons feel like a walk in the park, until it doesn't --- then it becomes extremely difficult.
Wait until they get to Spanish Harlem and then the Willis Avenue Bridge. That's where the race really begins.
My God! What in the World is Mary doing? That's insane!

People complaining about those of us who are complaining about the TV coverage need to get off their high horse and STFU.
STFU
Mary is apparently trying to get the half-marathon World Record at the same time as winning NYC. Might as well kill two birds with one stone.

How is Lagat doing versus the masters record?
At 2.13.14 pace now
Talking about the president of NYRR: Thanks to the sports science guy for explaining the reason for a faster projected finish time this year vs last year is the fact that he’s running a faster pace per mile this time!

Please don't discuss athletics here. You are meant to be moaning about the TV COVERAGE.

Looks good at the moment. This is the only reason for me to continue here, because the whole field lost the interest in breaking the course record right after the start, though the weather is absolutely fine.

How is it they can broadcast the Tour de France for 4+ hours a day with pretty much zero human interest stories, zero useless interviews, garbage commentators and yet they cannot show more than 37 seconds of action for a marathon?
Great point, and I watch that every day for three weeks. If Phil and Paul did a marathon I’m sure it would be delightful
Linden is 3:09 behind ?
Mary K throwing down the most doped performance of the year. Rhonex and Begera have nothing on this lol
Keitany is an adidas athlete. In the me's lead pack of 5, three have 4% on and two appear addias in Tola and Talam.
Why are they showing the hobbyjogger field now?
