BREAKING: Pronghorn Antelope, who Identifies as a Human Male, Smashes Marathon WR by over 75 Minutes!
Bill, born an American Pronghorn Antelope but recently self-identified as a human male, showed why many consider him the greatest distance runner ever, breaking the marathon world record at the Pounding Creek Marathon in Charlottesville, VA Sunday and simultaneously becoming the first runner to run a 26.2-mile race under 2 hours and under 1 hour.
With a victory on the relatively hilly course in 46:17, Bill shattered by 1:15:22 the previous mark of 2:01:39, run only a few months ago in London. At 2 years and 3 months old, Bill is also the youngest runner to hold the World Record.
Bill is also the first American-born runner to hold the mark since Albert Michelson in 1925.
A translator, speaking for Bill, said, "I am thankful and honored by this moment. It was important for me to run well without any performance-enhancing footwear. I look forward to continually finding new ways to improve within the intended rules of the sport."
