Serious - Women of LetsRun - Why are you on this site?

Simply put: I like running. There are trolls all over the internet so it’s not like it’s a letsrun only thing. If someone posts something offensive, I just report it.

I’m here to see if Mr. Jamin ever get a date.

Where else is there to go? Runners World forum is defunct. Running Ahead seems dead. And some of the trolls are entertaining.

In all seriousness, for me it’s mostly habit. I’ve been reading this board for ages and think there is good info to be gleened. I like some of the banter. It’s easy to avoid the worst of the retrograde bro-hardiness by ignoring threads about rape victim culpability and sugar babies.

I'm amused by how insecure so many of the so-called conservatives are. White men in the US are terrified of losing their entitlements.

Probably better than going to more leftist sites that try to tell women how to think, feel, and vote?

This is also why I come to this site, to see how insecure and terrified men can be about the littlest things. It is absolutely fascinating.

I also enjoy running and there is some good advice sometimes.

To understand how insecure the average white male REALLY is when they can be anonymous in an online forum.

Because everybody gets trolled and attacked by trolls here. It's not just women who get bad-mouthed on LRC. Some other favorite dead horses to pick on by the schoolyard bullies here are:

In other words, just about everyone outside the sub-elite running community, who would in fact comprise more than 99% of the world's population, would be severely trolled. The 99% has learned to ignore the troll comments and pick out the useful stuff on LetsRun. After all, it's the Internet.
