Do you really think his dad looks mixed or just based on what Cam looks like?

Since we are Malcolm Gladwell's favorite website, and i appaers that Gladwell has to be Levins father (;)), maybe he'll chime in.
Wikipedia says that the Canadian raised Gladwell was born to a British dad and Jamaican mom.

Why are you writing this sh*t about jews?
Because of the 1st amendment. Yaweh!

Also, if you believe biblical and Torah translations, technically jesus himself was Jewish.
I thought this was a pretty much agreed upon historical fact ...

Notice that I'm just asking, not branding. Imagine writing the same about black people.
He’s Mexican duh
Speaking of identifying Jewish runners,
Is Grant Fisher Jewish? He has that nice Jewish boy look.
bump of the century
but honest question (from a jewish runner): how the hell is cam levins NOT jewish?
he both looks incredibly jewish (including jew-fro), and his last name is levins, which is literally a jewish name.
i wonder if he's descended from converts or cryptojews?
anyone got any intel?
(and brojos, before you delete this thread, please evolve yourselves and understand that jews posting about jewish things is not antisemitic)
I'm pretty sure hes full blood Jewish.
If hes not, then neither is adam sander or ben stein or anne frank
In this pic, he appears to be wearing one of those lil circular hats that Jews wear. I dunno what they're called

believe it or not,he has said he has no jewish ancestry at all.levins is an irish surname.apparently hes mostly anglo/irish with some native canadian ancestry.ive met other white people with hair like his.its rare, but it happens.
How would you feel if people made similar comments about Native Americans? Would that be OK? Presumably you would not want them to make those kind of comments, but it's OK for you to do it?
you know non-black people can have curly hair...
Yes. I'm an Ashkenazi Jew and when younger I admit to having a Jewfro. This was not uncommon. Both my parents are from Eastern Europe (Poland & Lithuania) but my ancestry has a very small % of European. It's almost all from the Middle East despite my ancestors having lived in Eastern Europe for generations.
I agree with some of the posters who said that Levins does not have a Jewish background. Names can overlap different groups. So, for example, a woman I know has the surname Gross. This is a surname commonly found among Jews. However, the woman I mentioned is African-American with no Jewish ancestry that she knows of. Another example is Cohen. Also most commonly found among Jews, but there are Irish named Cohen (and Cohan).
