From Fox News so thought it might be biased and just running something to fit their agenda but didn't want to assume.
Just a couple paragraphs in and they are already twisting the numbers. The minimum wage they lead off with is for companies with more than 500 employees.....in an article about restaurants. How many restaurants do you know have 500 employess?????? and this wage starts in 2020. And only for employees that don't make tips.
Why on earth is this wage for non-tipped employees at large corporations in the future used as the leadoff stat in an article about restaurant workers already losing their jobs????
of course they'll make up for that with some actual stats about job loss etc right....nope
they interview one person who basically says 'yeah some people are losing their jobs over this' . zero facts
It's just gross, it's like they are not even trying to be truthful here. ??
It's like talking about the middle class being too taxed and losing their homes and then citing the tax bracket for $250,000 for next year as evidence.
How can they even pretend that they 'reporting'?
I am sure that there will be some instances of restaurants closing over this and some jobs lost. I was interested in learning about that and figured this article would be informative. I was wrong.
