can't wait to read Bromka's 9000-word blog about his 2:27
As someone who has grown more familiar with the Portland running scene over the past few years, I can't tell you how enjoyable this is. Partially because there will undeniably be some sort fever dream rant on the trials and tribulations of the marathon (although credit where credit is due, he did run 2:23, not 2:27), but also because it highlights the unbelievably childish yet entertaining feud going on between two "teams" that really mean jack all in the grand scheme of things.
The fact that one man can write a blog that so tickles the grundle of Portlandia's sub-sub-elite is an unbelievable delight. But please please please give me more. I don't even care about the race results anymore. Just hand me some popcorn while Bromka does his thing so Schlegel and Olberding can then felate each other into internet oblivion.
