I run between 70 - 100 mpw. I got the FR15. I'm happy with it and it does everything I need it to do.
I got the foot pod for those days I'm on the treadmill.
I also like how big the display is and it is no frills.
Not a big difference for most users. Both are getting old and are no longer priced competitively. Both have more storage than you need (they'll upload automatically via your phone whenever it's in range anyway). The 35 is really small and attractive in a minimalist sort of way. It doesn't allow you to preprogram workouts, so you just have to remember what you're doing and use the manual lap button. It also only displays two data fields at once.
The Polar M430 is the best option for a no-frills running watch. Its GPS and heart rate performance is better, and it's cheaper. A food pod for indoor running will run you $30:

. (The Garmins require an ANT+ pod, which will run you more like $70.)
Whatever platform you use, sync it up to Strava (the free version is fine), because if you switch platforms down the road, you'll at least have one place where you can look at all your data.

I got a used forerunner 910XT for 40€. It's a triathlon watch, but I'm no triathlete, though I bike occasionally. The barometric altimeter is a nice feature, as well as all the data it can display if you need that sort of thing.
Hey, I ordered from amazon a Garmin Forerunner 935, as my old watches started giving very inaccurate information. I was searching for the best triathlon watch and this one came as a result, and the review seemed good enough. I just need something that will track my activity with accurate information as I'm training very serious right now, and this information is crucial when you want to improve. How was your experience with 910? This article about watches https://www.joindouble.com/best-triathlon-watch/ has only 935, so I suppose it is better than 910?
