8:09 EDT....first interview with Alexi Pappas!
"I have a choice when that pain comes" - A. Pappas
Alexi Pappas is a moron
City of big shoulders, what do you have to show us today as the 'thonsters trample on your pavement?
Will records fall?
Who will run brave?
Who will run tall?
Will Gwen run with a drone overhead?
Will Smoove make LRC proud?
Will Galen wear a mask?
Will Alexi have some Greek yogurt as a snack?
Will Saladbar talk to Mo?
Will Jordan be watching from home?
Will Karl Hungus get blitzed?
Will the police keep the calm?
Start the race, already.
M.A.G.A.

No, she's a "bravey". WTF? CAN'T.....STAND......HER.
For those not from Chicago, Carol Marin is the dean of sanctimonious windbags in media here

It's Sunday morning, don't you have Sunday school or something else pressing where you might have to leave us for the next 2 hours or so?
How can I watch the race from the New England area? The NBC Chicago link keeps telling me to download flash even though I already have it. That mkv pass thing wasn't working either.
You know that your national anthem is a joke and sounds terrible, right?

Click on the little lock icon next to the web address and go into the site settings. Where it says "flash" click "always run"
I just had the same issue, with Chrome, and that solved it.
So many people talking trash about Pappas yet she has the same track 5k/10k PBs as Hasay. Faster actually, and more recent! 31:36 vs 31:39 (Alexi vs Jordan) and both 15:28 over 5000m.
Okay...Hasay ran 15:25 on the roads once. So combined 5k+10k they are dead even.
Gee, naw, nobody knows that, thank you for pointing it out for the first time. lol

I had to enable it for the particular Google Chrome window to make it work. Flash is a major pain in the a$$.
Am watching on iPhone. If you download the app, the local tv live-stream is available directly through the app with Tim Hutchins and Ed Eyestone

Dead even for speed. Alexi wins on the real rating.

The biggest problem with Alexi is when she opens her piehole.
Chumba and Karoki do all the work, Rupp, Mo and Kirui sit in the pack for most of the way.
Mo wins in 205 high with Chumba and Kirui in the 20620 range. Nobody else breaks 207.
Of course I will not even be close, but that's my prediction.
superstar Kevin Hart being interviewed presently.
Apparently he will be starting in the elite development corral, as proper of a man of his status.
