Anybody know how the training looked this year? I’m mostly curious about indoors and outdoors as their top guys seemed a bit off this year.
On the Magness and Marcus Podcast Marcus mentioned that he was in Flagstaff shadowing Mike Smith in the early spring. He watched one of their top guys (he did not say who) run a workout of 1600 @ 3k pace + 6x400 getting down to 54 about 10 days before Bryan Clay. Marcus also mentioned that the athlete did the same workout last year before Bryan clay but without the 1600 @ 3k pace (so just the fast 400s) and he crushed it both years.
