It was a huge help. It lined up pretty closely to what we do (which is one of the reason why I think our kids liked it) but it had some really nice wrinkles that our athletes responded really well too.

Hi Han,
Thanks for posting these spreadsheets, they're very interesting. I've improved a lot the last 2 and a half years after struggling in my running for a few years, and I'm noticing a lot of similarities in my training and what NAU does, and it really helps bolster the confidence and make me feel like I've got a good trianing program for myself. That, and the logs are entertaining. So, thank you very much!

Do you mind revealing your name? school?
I will give you the chance to be the adult and come forward. If not I'll be glad to do so.
How was Chemistry class today?
I’m under no obligation to reveal my identity but I would LOVE for you to make a guess and embarrass yourself.
Also I’m not sure where the hostility is coming from. Did I offend you somehow?
You must be very insecure . I don't think The Bolles School would be very proud of you posting from the school.

I’m sorry my man, you’re about 800 miles too far south.
I don’t know Coach Rivera personally but I’m sure he’s a good guy, and it’s a shame you seem to have some personal vendetta against him.
If you still don’t believe me, I give the moderators permission to ping my IP address and let this clown know that I’m not from Florida.

Thats funny I never mentioned a name Coach Rivera. You just did :)
This Han Solo is giving us a lot of great information. I don’t care if he’s from Mars. Just chill out
I just feel bad for Coach Rivera at Bolles as this random guy thinks it’s him on here. And i still don’t know why he thinks it would be him anyway.
You feel bad for yourself. Nico try though

You are an imbecile.
Hon Solo likes to throw sucker punches.
Now whats in that water in Flagstaff at NAU?
From interviews and Strava you can see the NAU guys run crazy mileage. Baxter and Day were/are in the 120 range. Many other guys over 100. I believe Griljalva is up there as well. Beamish is way lower. Ryan Raff is 110-120.
Monday’s they do 12-16 miles AM with 4-8 more PM. Tuesday/Friday workouts with doubles. Wednesday is like 16 miles. Saturday’s are 18-20+. Workouts are shorter, like 200s or 400s, or some threshold. Over winter break the guys did double threshold days, usually 4 miles worth of work in the morning and afternoon.
Thank you, Han Solo. Would love to see the training plans of NAU you mention, as well as training plans for high performing high school athletes, male and female, at distances like 1600 and 3200. I'm in my second year of high school coach with lots to learn. Have some talent that I want to do right by.
Tommy
I know I'm a bit late here but could you possibly send me a file with some of these to heartofamerica903@gmail.com? It would be greatly appreciated.
Han Solo - With all the free time we have now are you able to post some of the other training logs that you put together?
Fortunately my job is still keeping me busy (perhaps busier than ever), but I should be able to soon. I need to clean up and organize most of them as they’re sort of laid out in a way that wouldn’t make sense.
Thanks for the reminder, I will work on it

Teaching from home and coaching High School in FL. At the same time talking Sh@* on HS, college and pro athletes and coaches.
Han Solo is a bitter dude.
Good lord you are exhausting. Can you at least give a reason as to WHY you think I’m this teacher from Florida? I genuinely want to know.
Please, Rojo or Wejo, run my IP address and tell and prove to this clown that I’m not from Florida.

I forgot to mention that I have:
Several more NXN qualifying teams
Two sub 4:10 milers (high school) from this past season.
A former 10:15 female 3200 runner
A former 2:11 female 800m runner
A former Sub 4:10 / 1:50 HS boy
Former footlocker top 3 female
Remember:
Don't hate the player, hate the game.
Han Solo - The Bollas School in the FL is the only one to have two sub 4:10 miles this past season.
You gave it up yourself and it's kind of funny.
IP address can be scrambled. That means nothing. Way to go coach you're making your school and athletes proud.
Wow, you really are that stupid.
Go back and read the post. I said I had the training logs for two sub 4;10 runners from last season - not that I coached those specific athletes.
Why I even come to this site is beyond me when I have to deal with stupidity this abundant.

RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
