After she sets a NR for the marathon, will she already be considered the GOAT for female Greek distance runners?

OMG!
Why would an American citizen run for Greece? Despite the obvious answer that she couldn't make the U.S. team, Greece is not a country one should be proud to represent. The Greece debt crisis of a few years ago almost sunk the Eurozone. If the U.S. follows the Greek model of Socialist/Leftist policies and unrestrained government bureaucracy then surely we will slide into a great decline. Why support such a country unless you are anti-American?

In any just world, at least a portion of the fawning media attention that goes to Pappas for running a Twitter account that consists of running-related nursery rhymes should go to people like Rochelle Kanuho or Aliphine Tuliamuk.
Maybe they should be better at marketing themselves.

I’ve seen her little videos from last year . They are pretty entertaining . She doesn’t race a lot . And the movie things to be pretty low key more of a jacked hobby than a career . Very marketable with her look and ivy educated dialogue .
She represents the "little videos" and "movie things" as much more than a "hobby."
Twitter bio: "Olympian, Essayist, Filmmaker. Greek national record holder. "
Also, what is "ivy educated dialogue"? That is cute that you think it proves something that a person went to an Ivy.

Sadly, we don't live in a just world.
We live in a world where I can instantly guess the color of the less-sponsored athletes you name. :(

Right. Like Mary Cain, who is sponsored due to her amazing performances this year and great marketing.
Thread title and "satyr" are amazing.
Pappas needs to stay relevant for a few more years, so I'm rooting for her.
Not sure how much Papass makes from her movies honeslty probably not a lot . This makes it a hobby .
Ivy League dialogue is the ability sound super smart within a conversation . Pappas does this well.
Anyway , 2:32 at Chicago

Hahahahaha OK 99% of filmmakers and 99.% of "serious" runners will disagree with your definition.

Yeah, that would be good for her. She has run a few fine 10Ks so she has the talent. Don't know about her recent training but I hope she surprises a bunch of us. This is a debut right?
She is engaging, successful and provocative.
Haters gonna hate.
