There was much hype about the youth movement at ND. Some had their recruiting class ranked 1st. Two of those guys ran 25:20 yesterday.

It doesn’t look as bright as it appeared when they signed these guys.
Wow haha I’m a jv high school runner and I’ve run faster than that. Honestly didn’t think my 22 minute pr was that good but there are really college guys who are slower?

5 miles dumby.
Transfers can start rolling October 15! Notre Dame coach has no clue what he is doing.
These freshmen should be running 24:20 not 25:20. A girl on the team told me that the freshmen have lost their drive. ND looks to be lost. One of their top freshmen at the meet wasn’t even one of the top recruits.
Ladies are looking solid. Add Annie and Elena into Fridays results and the ladies will carry the day. Maybe when they were talking best class it was the women. They have two more rockstars on the sidelines as the backed outa their NLI so can't run this season but be there soon enough. My money is on the IrishWOman.
It is early in their freshman year. Way way too early for anyone who knows about training and development to conclude anything. If you want to expose your ignorance then continue to make stupid comments. If these guys are running terrible in 12-15 months the fire away.
Really? Do you look at facts? Look at the top guys over the past 10 years. Nearly every one of them had great freshmen years. I guess every guy should hope to start out like crap. ND is following your strategy which goes against what the top coaches are doing but you and him must know something that the other coaches don’t.
It didn't take a year to get Clinger or Grijalva going. The difference is that they joined the premier programs with excellent coaches.
why the minus 22? It was funny.
Most of the ND fanboys are quiet now.

They still can have great freshman years. Nationals is seven weeks away.
Carlson can recruit on energy alone because it’s Notre Dame. But they were 10th last year at Great Lakes! He just hasnt any experience coaching anyone. Coach more than a DMR team when you can host the best qualifying meet in country. Sparks is in charge and works only with women and will be very good next year.
I am predicting that the women will be fine but some of these guys will disappear over time.

-1/10 because I had a good laugh
The won’t be having great freshmen seasons because they are most likely done since they ran unattached. It will be a long 3 months and then probably be redshirted again. I have seen it many times. They will either transfer or just disappear. Think, Slagowski.
Why redshirt them? Team stinks; let them grow!
Nuguse 24:11 So
Keslin 24:20 Jr
Salvano 24:30 So
Alexander 24:41 So
Williams 24:42 Sr
Kilrea 24:42 Fr
Zona 24:56 So
Griffith 24:57 So
Carmody 25:05 Fr
Seems like they are doing just fine without their freshman.
