Of note in the men's scores -- Alabama doesn't even have a score right now as the results are only showing four scorers. Kiprop was a DNS, but where were Noel Rotich and Kwemoi Ndiwa?

With Baxter running an average race, NAU scores under 30 in that race.
Blaise Ferro finally making his presence felt. When healthy, he's an All-American caliber runner.
I think we're finding out that if you want to win, you have to go with the NAU guys or you will get left and have no chance. None of the NAU guys have big kicks, but the way that they, as a group, push the pace and get separation from the chasers is clinical.
"Kings to you, NAU"
-BYU guys
Purdue a surprise and what's going on with Providence? Have they stopped importing Catholics?
3 Takeaways
1. NAU is sorta good
2. Boise St had the second best meet
3. Watch out for Iowa State come November
Great day overall for Wisconsin XC. Individual wins in men's and women's race and the men finish 2nd overall. Very impressive.

Funny how the Princeton men - who are nationally ranked - were delegated to the B race while conference and region rival Penn - not even receiving votes - is in the A race.
Do you think it did them any good to get crushed in the A race?
31 Penn 768
32 Texas Tech 859
33 Providence 890
NAU JUST SCORED LOWER THAN WHAT THEY SCORED LAST YEAR WITHOUT THEIR NUMBER ONE GUY!!!!!!!
Imma go with Iowa State being highly overrated. I love when one guy brings up a big pick and then everyone jumps on the bandwagon. Clearly a bunch of hype. Everyone get off.
Alabama better hope it's not in the 20s at NCAA's.

Never saw them in the live results. I only saw 2 Kenyan names and 3 American ones, and then one of the Americans didn't finish. Only 4 Alabama runners finished.

So no one picks up points for beating them right?

IDK - you're the XC/distance expert, not me.
Purdue biggest surprise on the men’s side? 9th place for a team that hasn’t made nationals or contended for a Big Ten win in decades.
Anyone know the actual distance?
4.8?
Embarrassing day for Alabama. Jeez.
So...
NAU runs 23:28 average at Wisco (missing their #1)
BYU runs 23:53 average at ND

Yeah, and how different are the courses?
