Princeton doesn't have a team in the "A" races so this is their "A" team, compared to everyone else running their "B" Team

Yeah, I don't get this. No football game this weekend. With three big meets this year, they have a chance to get some local buzz going in Madison but you're never going to get as many spectators on a Friday as on a Saturday.
I get that Princeton's strategy of laying low and tempoing their races up until Heps worked and it got them to nationals last year, but it still seems pretty bush league to put your A guys in the B race when you know they should be in the A race. At least try and race against some of the big boys.

I'm guessing they still believe that the MidAtlantic region is somewhat weak again this year and just trying to rest up in order to get a top-2 team spot. They "won" the MidAtlantic regional meet last year.

It's a similar tactic that Coach Vigilante has done with his distance crews in the TF seasons as well, resulting in some fan rumors that he doesn't stress the competitiveness of Indoor and Outdoor Heps to his distance athletes as his bigger deal was getting the marks for regionals or NCAAs.

They've won the past 5 heps, so I don't think there's much of an argument they don't care about heps.

I'm not positive it was their decision.
