Seems like every vegan is very aggressive ... why is that? Hormone imbalance from being denied meat?

It's usually a phase, after a year or more of being vegan most people calm down.
Because meat eaters allow others to kill for your food. Very cowardly way of living a life.

usually those are the vegans who became vegans for ethical reasons and want people to see and know the mistreatment of animals. I am vegan mainly for that reason as well (and because I feel better when I don't eat meat or dairy), however I do not push my views on others because I know how obnoxious that can be. So I wouldn't label all vegans as aggressive because many are not.
Shared misery, much the same as socialism (except for an elite few).
They also see themselves as intellectually and morally superior, the aggressive virtue signalling is to hide the fact that they're not 100% sure they are and maybe, just maybe, veganism is so good for your health after all.

Their nutrient-deprived brain tissue tells them that they are saving the planet, while the fact is that the only people saving the planet with diet are breatharians, since they are dead inside of a month.
I’m not and have only had people remark that they were surprised when they found out I am vegan.

Fwiw I also agree that some amount of animal foods in one’s diet makes it easier to maintain a balanced and nutritious diet, but it does not impact my choices. I wish ethical vegans wouldn’t argue this point, because it sets the discussion up for failure.

Facts.
Waving veganism like a designer handbag
ethical veganism falls apart when you explain how many insects, rodents, aardvarks, bunny rabbits, bird's nests, spiders, scorpions, roly polys, earth worms, caterpillars, lizards, snakes, turtles, armadillos and other creatures are slaughtered by clearing, plowing, planting, spraying, and harvesting a field of crops.

oh no you didnt!
Was married to a woman who turned vegan.. we divorced obvi..
Being vegan is almost like converting to a new religion. When you don’t share the same beliefs it becomes the source of many arguments.
Vegans should just date vegans.
All of the vegans I know annoy the sht out of me, forcing their opinions on everyone.
And most of them are fat for some reason too. Not really a good advert for it. I wish they would shut the f up.
We'd still have to grow crops for animal feed (36% of US corn is currently used as feed) and if we increased meat consumption we'd have to do it even more because 90% of energy is wasted when it goes from the plant to the animal, meaning we'd have to increase our production ten told cause y'all don't like vegetables.

Witnessed a young hippie chick wearing a "eat vegan" t shirt on Boston MBTA last month pass out and hit the floor and a guy hollers, "somebody get her a hamburger."
LOL

Its actually a heather way of life all the way around, assuming one does not replace the animal products with products containing huge amounts of polyunsaturated fat and simple sugars. It is however akin to a religion in some I've known. Kinda like Jehovah's Witness but without the going door to door.
