My parents aren't letting me run cause of the weather outside.. I was supposed to do a 7 mile easy run. What should I do at home to make up for missing the run, I already did pushups.

Dude, I feel your pain. My parents don't let me run when the weather is bad outside and it can get really difficult in the winter but try to get on a tredmil at a gym or something. I know it's hard to do 7 miles on a tredmil but a few miles is better than none

Be such a PITA that your parents will toss you out the door to run.
Tell them to go fly a kite.
Reminds me of emil zatopek when in house arrest would run in place.

What's wrong with the weather?
Just put on your running stuff and head out the door.
Go to a local gym and hop on the treadmill. Most gyms allow drop-ins (often for a small fee, $5 or so).
They can't not let you run if they're dead, nomsayin?

Dude, the guy is 14.
Dude I feel your pain.
My parents recently told me I couldn’t go run either. They kept talking about the weather in Florence or some bullshit.
Like duck pff parents, we live in AMERICA, not Spain!
Your parents are pussies
Dress up like you’re going for a run (wear tights if it’s cold+jacket), then walk towards the door, then open said door, step outside, start running..
If you’re parents chase you they won’t catch you cause they haven’t been running. Show up back home after your run, tell them to get out of your face cause you have dreams to chase-repeat
On the assumption that you are a HS student running XC this fall, then you need to get some guidelines from your parents about when/where you can run when you don't have practice (e.g., weekends). This is more commonly an issue with extreme weather in the summer or the winter. Getting access to a treadmill is an excellent idea. Is there a gym nearby that you can join, or could you get your parents to help you buy a used treadmill on Craigslist? Is there other cross-training you can do like cycling or pool running? It's OK to take a day off from running here and there when you aren't feeling well or you have trip planned, etc. In the short term try to follow your parents request, but in the long-term try to find some options that your parents will support.

When I would head out the door for my PM run, sometimes my Mom would be home and she would say, "What are you doing? You already ran this morning?" After this happened about 5 times, I would no longer answer her, I just took off at 5:30 pace. It made her so much more mad than when I tried to explain. It made me feel better.
Is it rainy and windy or just hot outside?
Why my parents won’t let me run at night and how to get around it?
Being that it is 2021 I would estimate you are 35 to 45 years old still living at home.... Ah tell them even though I am living under your roof at not working I am going for my 7 mike run I am an adult and I expect fresh pizza ordered and delivered by the time I get back from this run and I am going to sleep with my girlfriend on your bed tonight.
Start running at night. Who gaf? If you keep doing it, your parents will stop trying to micromanage you.
