WR is unlikely... They are on pace for about 60:00 right now
Nothing on YouTube
I should point out that the women went out at 15:06 so WR is very much on for them.
SAD!
Anyone?
How far is it from Berlin, fly Kipchoge over there in time and it's 2 WR's in one day.

He'd get there faster if he ran!
This is why nobody could pace Kipchoge past 25k, and it's an intentional conspiracy they agreed on to keep him from smashing the record too much. They're not really in this to race, just to duck pacing duty.

The race website has the stream dude. Go to 'live video' down the page here:

Want to see ten finish under an hour, never done before
Sifan Hassan went out with the lead group unlike what was said on the LRC podcast. She hit 10k in 30:37. Supposedly her goal was only to run about 1:09.
At 10km, big group of men on pace for 59:25, women (Chelimo, Hassan) on pace for 1:04:33
No split screen here,....but they do have a triple screen!!
No Rupp?
Did I miss a news story or something? I know it sounded like he was nursing an Achilles problem after the 10 Miler two weeks ago, but since then I've heard nothing. Bummer he's not racing today (unless I'm missing something)!
Women right on WR pace, men picking it up now. Almost 11K in. Hassan setting prs now every K she runs, losing contact as lead pack are flying!
Hassan looks like she's losing contact with Chelimo. Women's first 5km was 15:06!
